  • Patent number: 8214713
Abstract: When a determination section of a reception apparatus determines that a control channel is intended for the reception apparatus, a comparing section of the reception apparatus compares control information transmitted on the control channel with a reception capability of the reception apparatus. A data channel reception section of the reception apparatus receives a data channel when the control information is within the reception capability of the reception apparatus, but does not receive the data channel when the control information exceeds the reception capability of the reception apparatus. When the control information exceeds the reception capability of the reception apparatus, the transmission section does not transmit an ACK signal and a NACK signal with respect to the data channel.

  • Publication number: 20060293008
Abstract: A mobile station apparatus is provided that allows efficient performance of processing related to CQI and reduces unnecessary power consumption and interference against other mobile stations. In this mobile station apparatus, a signaling detector (71) detects a timing the HSDPA serving cell changes, that is, a timing the base station being the destination of a channel quality indicator changes to another base station, and reports the change timing and the detection timing at which the change timing is detected to a controller (72). When the change timing comes between an SIR measurement start timing and a CQI transmission end timing, the controller (72) controls the generating of CQI in a CQI generator (60) and transmission of CQI in a transmitter (80) according to the detection timing in the signaling detector (71).

  • Publication number: 20060165028
Abstract: A mobile station apparatus is provided that performs receive processing efficiently and reduces unnecessary power consumption. In this mobile station apparatus, a signaling detector (71) detects a compressed mode gap period in an uplink channel, that is, a period in which no uplink signal is transmitted to a base station, and reports this period to a controller (72). If the period detected in the signaling detector (71) contains transmission timing of an ACK/NACK signal, the controller (72) controls an HS-PDSCH receive processor (40) to stop the receive processing of the packet data corresponding to the ACK/NACK signal.

  • Publication number: 20060014505
Abstract: A mobile station apparatus is provided that performs receive processing efficiently and reduces unnecessary power consumption. In this mobile station apparatus, a signaling detector (71) detects the timing transmit diversity mode of the base station of the HSDPA serving cell changes and reports this change timing to a controller (72). The controller (72) controls an HS-PDSCH receive processor (40) and HS-SCCH receive processor (50) to stop receive processing with respect to the HS-PDSCH sub-frame and HS-SCCH sub-frame corresponding to the change timing.

  • Publication number: 20050181735
Abstract: Determination section 107 determines whether a control channel is intended for a reception apparatus having the determination section 107, and when it is determined that the control channel is intended for the reception apparatus, capability comparing section 113 compares control information transmitted on the control channel with the reception capability of the reception apparatus. Data channel reception section 108 receives a data channel when the control information is within a scope of the reception capability of the reception apparatus, while not receiving the data channel when the control information is out of a scope of the reception capability of the reception apparatus. Further, when the control information is out of the scope of the reception capability of the reception apparatus, transmission section 112 does not transmit an ACK signal and NACK signal in response to the data channel.

  • Publication number: 20040177306
Abstract: A control section 106 receives ACK and NACK sent from a receiving apparatus 150, manages a frame number and the number of transmissions, and controls an interleave pattern deciding section 107 based on these. The interleave pattern deciding section 107 decides an interleave pattern to equalize the frequency with which the respective interleave patterns are applied at the time of retransmitting the same frame data based on control of the control section 106. An interleaver 108 interleaves frame data with the decided interleave pattern. This makes it possible to equalize likelihood of the signal input to a decoder of the receiving apparatus and improve error correction ability of the decoder.
