  • Patent number: 9351689
Abstract: An electronic sphygmomanometer having a function to calculate an index value of risk of circulatory system disease from measured blood pressure information includes a CPU, a memory, and a display. The CPU calculates the blood pressure of a person being examined based on pressure changes of an air bladder as measured by a pressure sensor. The memory stores data of the measured blood pressure together with time information of the measurement. The CPU calculates an index value of risk of circulatory system disease of the person being examined based on a difference between a blood pressure value obtained from a measurement and a blood pressure value obtained from a previous measurement and an elapsed time between the measurement and the previous measurement, A display part displays the calculated index value of risk of circulatory system disease of the person being examined together with the measured blood pressure.

  • Publication number: 20130030311
Abstract: A blood pressure measurement device compresses a measurement site by a cuff being wrapped around the measurement site. A first fluid bag is provided inside an outer package of the cuff. An indicating member is provided in the cuff so as to contact the outer package and the first fluid bag. The properties of the indicating member change in a visible manner in accordance with a magnitude of a force with which the indicating member is pressed by the outer package and the first fluid bag.

  • Publication number: 20120165687
Abstract: A blood pressure measurement device includes a sensor that detects a change of an internal pressure of an air bladder during the inflation and/or deflation of the air bladder. The sensor further includes a first sensor and a second sensor, which each have a diaphragm connected to the air bladder. A face of each of the diaphragms of the first sensor and the second sensor is flexibly displaced in accordance with the change of the internal pressure of the air bladder. The face of the diaphragm of the second sensor is arranged in a different position and/or direction from the face of the diaphragm of the first sensor. A central processing unit of the device includes a failure judgment unit that determines whether there was any failure with the sensor based on difference between the internal pressures detected by the first sensor and the second sensor.

  • Patent number: 7127229
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a cellular phone to be used for emergency reports that performs GPS positioning by means of remote control from an emergency report center, and transmits positional information to the emergency report center. The emergency report cellular phone according to the present invention is constituted such that when an emergency report switch thereof is depressed, a call request is made to the emergency report center. The emergency report center transmits a response signal with the result that a call link is formed between the emergency report cellular phone and the emergency report center. Following completion of the telephone call, the emergency report center transmits a position recalculation command message, by means of a DTMF signal.
