Abstract: This invention presents a light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material having at least two silver halide emulsion layers having sensitivities in different spectral regions on the same side of a support, at least one layer of the layers comprising at least two silver halide emulsion layers with different sensitivities, in which each of the at least two silver halide emulsion layers with different sensitivities contains at least one kind of substantially monodispersed silver halide crystals and at least one silver halide emulsion layer of the layers comprises substantially silver iodobromide containing 4 mole % or more of silver iodide, and further the iodine content in the emulsion layer having the highest sensitivity is higher than that of the emulsion layer having a sensitivity second to the highest.

Abstract: There is disclosed a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material comprising at least one hydrophilic colloid layer containing microcapsules encapsulating a photographic treating reagent coated with a wall material, which can be dissolved at pH 7 or higher, provided on a support.The microcapsules of the present invention, can be effectively employed in a one-bath treatment method for forming a dye image. The bath is highly stable and the resulting images have extremely high color density.

Abstract: The invention relates to multi-layered color photosensitive materials having a support, a red photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a non-diffusible cyan coupler, a green photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a non-diffusible yellow coupler and a blue photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a non-diffusible magenta coupler coated on a support in the order recited and wherein the green photosensitive emulsion layer contains a compound capable of reacting with an oxidized color developing agent to release a development inhibiting substance.

Abstract: There is disclosed a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer constituted of a plural number of layers which are substantially the same in color to which they are sensitive but different in sensitivity provided on a support, which comprises a layer having the highest sensitivity among the plural number of layers with different sensitivities which contains at least two kinds of substantially mono-dispersed silver halide grains with different average grain sizes.The light-sensitive silver halide photographic material according to this invention is high in sensitivity and excellent in graininess of dye image.

Abstract: There is disclosed a light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material, comprising a group of silver halide emulsion layers constituting the same color sensitive layer, said group of emulsion layers consisting of at least two silver halide emulsion layers with different light sensitivities, the layer with the highest sensitivity incorporating at least one kind of a compound having a non-diffusion type coupler component and a scavenger component for an oxidized product of a color forming developing agent in an amount of 1 to 5 mole % per mole of the silver halide in the layer containing said compound.The light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material according to the present invention has high sensitivity and can provide high image quality with a broad latitude.

Abstract: There is disclosed a silver halide light-sensitive color photographic material which comprises a support and coated thereon a light-sensitive layer containing a compound which, upon reaction with an oxidized color developing agent, is capable of releasing a diffusible development inhibitor and a negative type light-sensitive silver halide emulsion containing light-sensitive silver halide crystals essentially consisting of mono-dispersed silver halide crystals of which size distribution satisfies the following relation:S/r.ltoreq.0.15whereinS=.sqroot..SIGMA.(r-r.sub.i).sup.2 n.sub.i.sup.2 /.SIGMA.n.sub.i andr=.SIGMA.n.sub.i r.sub.i /.SIGMA.n.sub.i in which r.sub.i represents the crystal size of individual silver halide crystals and n.sub.i represents the number of crystals.The light-sensitive color photographic material of the present invention provides an image of remarkably improved sharpness.

Abstract: A light-sensitive color photographic material having a support and, coated thereon, at least two light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers respectively sensitive to lights of different spectral regions, characterized in that each of the light-sensitive emulsion layers comprises at least two emulsion layers having different light-sensitivities and containing negative type light-sensitive silver halide crystals essentially consisting of silver iodobromide containing silver iodide at a proportion not higher than 4 mole %.This invention provides a silver halide color photographic material, in which the proportion of the silver halide utilized for the information of a color image to the total silver halide used is enhanced remarkably.

Abstract: A method for reproducing a color image. A dye image is formed on a photographic light-sensitive material by imagewisely exposing the material and processing to form a dye image. Through the imaged photographic light-sensitive material, an exposure is made on a photographic printing light-sensitive material which is processed in an alkaline activator solution to form a dye image thereon. The photographic light-sensitive material contains a transparent support provided thereon with red-sensitive, green-sensitive, and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers. The layers each contain one of three different nondiffusible couplers capable of forming, by coupling, compounds having spectral absorption maximum wavelength in the wavelength region longer than 340 nm. The spectral absorption maximum wavelength of the compounds differ by at least 30 nm.

Abstract: A light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material is disclosed which contains a support having coated thereon a red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a non-light-sensitive layer adajcent to the red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer adjacent to the non-light-sensitive layer. The non-light-sensitive layer contains substantially non-light-sensitive silver halide grains while the red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contains a DIR compound and a particular 2-equivalent substantially colorless cyan coupler.
