  • Publication number: 20010032387
Abstract: A wiring board manufacturing system, which is an electric wiring forming system, utilizes a magnesium alloy as a conductive metal for wiring pattern forming, and mixes and heats the magnesium alloy chips thereof in a cylinder (feeding unit) with a built-in screw, melting same into an alloy slurry of a thixotropic state. The alloy slurry thereof is discharged onto a board. Meanwhile, the above-mentioned board is mounted on a work stage 55 of a stage unit, which is driven and controlled in accordance with wiring pattern data inputted by a CAD or the like, and a wiring pattern is formed on the board with the above-mentioned discharged alloy. According to this system, it is possible to provide an electric wiring forming system, which does away with the effects on the environment resulting from waste liquid at manufacturing, enables manufacturing time to be shortened, and moreover, uses an inexpensive metallic material for forming a wiring pattern.

  • Patent number: 5466914
Abstract: An apparatus comprises a lever provided in a housing. The lever has a stop piece on its first end which is located near a card insertion slot. The lever also has contact rollers on its second end which is opposite to the first end. The lever is rotatable around an axis with respect to a card passageway. The axis extends perpendicular to the passageway between the first and second ends. The lever is urged by a tension spring so that the contact rollers can contact a card being transferred in the passageway and that the stop piece cannot block the passageway. If a card is inserted from the insertion slot into the housing and transferred along the passageway, the card abuts the contact rollers to rotate the lever. As a result, the stop piece blocks the passageway to prevent successive insertion of two cards.

  • Patent number: 5179504
Abstract: A shutter mechanism for use in a recording and/or reproducing apparatus having a guide slot through which a record card is inserted/discharged. The mechanism includes a shutter blade arranged behind the guide slot, shafts secured to side walls of the blade, and contact members, with inclined surfaces, disposed on the rear surface of the blade. The shafts are inserted into U-shaped recesses formed in supporting members so as to move rotatably and up and down. A first coiled spring biases the blade to rotate to close the guide slot, and second and third coiled springs press the blade downward to close the guide slot. During insertion of the card, the blade is pushed by the front edge of the card to rotate the blade about the shafts against the force of the first spring to open the guide slot. After full insertion of the card, the blade is returned to an upright position to close the guide slot.

  • Patent number: 4709283
Abstract: Apparatus for data transfer with a disk cartridge having a flexible magnetic disk rotatably housed in a protective envelope with some play in its own plane. A motor driven hub has a socket defined concentrically therein, with an annular disk bearing surface formed around the socket. Rotatably mounted to a hinged clamp arm, a clamp has a tapered collet engageable in the socket in the drive hub through a central opening in the magnetic disk, and a flange on the collet for clamping an exposed annular portion of the disk against the disk bearing surface. Being loose in the protective envelope, the magnetic disk has been liable to be caught in the drive hub socket by the tapered collet which travels along an arcuate locus into engagement in the socket.

  • Patent number: 4692828
Abstract: A flexible magnetic disk drive to be mounted between, and fastened to, a pair of opposed holder plates forming parts of the housing of a data processing instrument such as a computer or word processor. The disk drive has a base structure comprising a platform, on which there are mounted such standard components as a drive drive mechanism and a head transport mechanism, and a pair of side walls on the opposite sides of the platform. Usually in the form of an aluminum die casting, the base structure would suffer deformation if it were fastened directly to the holder plates, due to positional errors between their screw holes. The deformation of the base structure is avoided by coupling the base structure to the holder plates via a pair of connectors which are fastened to the opposite side walls of the base structure. Each connector has a pair of lugs each having a hole formed therethrough for receiving screws or like fastener elements passing through holes in the holder plates.

  • Patent number: 4604666
Abstract: A data transfer apparatus employs a pair of magnetic transducer heads for contact with the opposite faces of a magnetic disk for data transfer. The magnetic disk is rotatably housed in a relatively rigid envelope to make up an interchangeable disk cartridge, with the envelope having a shutter openable to expose parts of the opposite faces of the magnetic disk for data transfer contact with the transducer heads. The apparatus has a cartridge cradle movable between a first position where the disk cartridge is loaded on and unloaded from the same, and a second position where the loaded disk cartridge engages wtih a disk drive mechanism to be driven thereby. The cartridge cradle is dually locked against accidental travel from the first to the second position, in order to prevent the collision of the pair of transducer heads with each other.
