    Abstract: An electromagnetic clutch mechanism includes: a driving-side rotatable body; a driven-side rotatable body; an electromagnet; a flat spring; and an elastic member that alleviates a collision impact generated between the driven-side rotatable body and the driving-side rotatable body. The driven-side rotatable body includes a recess recessed in an A direction, which is opposite to a direction that is directed from the driven-side rotatable body toward the elastic member in an axial direction. The recess functions as an urging portion that exerts an urging force to the elastic member through contact of the recess against the elastic member at the time of energizing the electromagnet. The elastic member includes an urging-force receiving portion, and the urging-force receiving portion receives the urging force from the recess through contact of the urging-force receiving portion to the recess at the time of energizing the electromagnet.

    Abstract: An input device includes a housing, an operation unit, a vibrating body, a piezoelectric element, a picker, and a signal processing unit. The operation unit is movable relative to the housing. The vibrating body has elasticity. The vibrating body includes a first end partially fixed to the housing, and a second end provided so as to be vibratable. The piezoelectric element is provided to the vibrating body. The piezoelectric element is configured to convert vibration energy of the vibrating body into electrical energy as the vibrating body vibrates. The picker flicks the vibrating body to allow the vibrating body to vibrate in conjunction with the operation unit. The signal processing unit is configured to receive power generated by the piezoelectric element to operate and transmit, through wireless communications, detection information to be generated as the operation unit moves.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a bridge abnormality sensing device including: a pair of vibration sensors installed in an upper structure of a railroad bridge supported with a plurality of bearings, the pair of vibration sensors being provided for two of the bearings arranged in a width direction; a detector circuit configured to output a damage detection signal based on a difference between output signals of the pair of vibration sensors; and an output circuit configured to receive the damage detection signal and notify an external device of any structural damage detected from the railroad bridge. The vibration sensors are vibration power generators that generate power in a frequency range of abnormal vibration resulting from the damage. Power to drive the detector circuit is supplied from the vibration power generators.

    Abstract: A TD converter is provided for digitally converting a delay time value into a digital value. In the TD converter, an oscillator circuit part inputs time domain data. A first-state counter circuit part measures a number of waves of an output oscillation waveform from the oscillator circuit part when time domain data is in a first state, and a second-state counter circuit part measures a number of waves of the output oscillation waveform from the oscillator circuit part when the time domain data is in a second state. An output signal generator part generates an output signal based on output count values of the first-state counter circuit part and the second-state counter circuit part, and a frequency control circuit controls the oscillator circuit part to always oscillate and to control an oscillation frequency of the oscillator circuit part.

    Abstract: Vulcanizing-bonding is carried out using at least a phenolic resin-based vulcanized adhesive F and a silicon compound-based vulcanized adhesive C. Based on an idea of making a penetration of water through a portion bonded with metal difficult, decreasing the adhesion with metal is prevented by utilizing the phenolic resin-based vulcanized adhesive F through which less water can penetrate than the silicon compound-based vulcanized adhesive C, and can increases a thickness of a membrane. Thereby, EPDM or AEM vulcanizable with a peroxide can be strongly bonded to metal, by forming a two-layered structure of the phenolic resin-based vulcanized adhesive F and the silicon compound-based vulcanized adhesive C. Further, a range of selecting a rubber material as an elastic member to be utilized by bonding to metal can be broadened.

    Abstract: A reactor for generating plasma is provided in a vacuum chamber. The reactor has an opening in the direction of a supporting portion for a deposition base material, and the reactor includes an outer housing and a cylindrical inner wall structure that is inserted in the outer housing and is freely attachable and detachable to and from the outer housing. The cleaning of the reactor is performed with respect to the cylindrical inner wall structure that is simpler in structure than the outer housing, and hence the reactor can be cleaned reliably and with ease, thereby making it possible to improve the operational efficiency and the yield rate. The problem of prolonged operation time resulting from the cleaning of the reactor in a plasma chemical vapor deposition apparatus is thus resolved.
