  • Patent number: 10505407
Abstract: A brushless motor comprising: a rotor; a stator core disposed at a radial direction outside of the rotor, and a stator case. The stator core includes an outer ring shaped section, teeth sections projecting out from the outer ring shaped section toward a radial direction inside, and an inner ring shaped section extending from end portions of the teeth sections. Protruding portions are formed at the outer ring shaped section so as to project toward a radial direction outside and so as to be disposed at even intervals around a circumferential direction of the outer ring shaped section. The stator case is integrated together with the stator core by a plurality of plastic deformation portions formed at an outer peripheral portion of the stator case at locations facing towards the protruding portions, and the plastic deformation portions are disposed at even intervals along a circumferential direction of the stator case.

  • Patent number: 7193343
Abstract: A stator having a stator core about which a coil is wound is secured to an aluminum frame. A magnet-embedded type rotor is rotatably accommodated inward of the stator. A circuit substrate is attached to the surface of the aluminum frame opposite to the surface to which the stator is secured. A control circuit and hall ICs for detecting the rotational position of the rotor are mounted on the circuit substrate. Detection signals of the hall ICs are received by the control circuit. The control circuit supplies a drive current to the coil of the stator in accordance with the detection signals.

  • Patent number: 6948464
Abstract: The variable valve timing controller has an electric motor which rotates a phase converter. When the electric motor is locked for some reason, the over-load more than the predetermined value is applied to a motor shaft and the phase converter. In such a case, a pin connecting the motor shaft with the phase converter is sheared at a notch. Thus, a cam shaft and the phase converter were not locked, and breakage of a motor housing is prevented.
