  • Patent number: 9770739
Abstract: A method for producing a columnar or cylindrical metal automotive part whose outer circumferential surface includes a portion to be coated with paint and a portion to be uncoated therewith includes the following processes: (1) a process of providing a convergent nozzle-shaped covering jig which covers an outer circumferential surface of the columnar or cylindrical part at an axial end thereof and covers the portion to be uncoated with the paint, with a gap formed between the covering jig and the outer circumferential surface of the part; (2) a process of discharging a gas from the gap toward an end of a nozzle of the covering jig with the columnar or cylindrical part being rotated; (3) a process of sticking a film-forming substance to the columnar or cylindrical part from an axial side surface thereof.

  • Patent number: 4783805
Abstract: A system for converting a voice signal to a pitch signal comprises a first circuit for obtaining a pulse signal having a period corresponding to peak values of an input voice signal, a second circuit for quantizing the output pulse signal of the first circuit and for generating a quantized signal, a third circuit for setting a quantized signal as a preliminary pitch signal which indicates a preliminary pitch when the same quantized signal is successively obtained from the second circuit for a predetermined number of times, and a fourth circuit supplied with the quantized signal from the second circuit and the preliminary pitch signal from the third circuit for correcting the preliminary pitch signal by raising or lowering the preliminary pitch when a pitch described by the quantized signal and the preliminary pitch are not equal to each other. The fourth circuit generates a pitch signal which indicates a pitch of the input voice signal.

  • Patent number: 4674769
Abstract: A steering system for a forklift truck having a tiltable steering column which rotatably supports a steering shaft carrying a steering wheel. The tiltable steering column is pivotally supported between its operative position and its rest position, about a pivot axis parallel to an axis of rotation of drive wheels of the truck. The system comprises: a biasing spring for biasing the steering column toward its rest position; an engaging member provided on the steering column; a locking member for locking the steering column in the operative position, the locking member being supported movably between its locking position and its unlocking position, and when placed in the locking position, engaging the engaging member of the steering column in the operative position; and an actuator associated with the locking member to move the locking member to the unlocking position and thereby permit the steering column to be pivoted to the rest position under a biasing action of the biasing spring.

  • Patent number: 4653342
Abstract: The present invention relates to a shift lever mechanism for a transmission in a vehicle in which the driving mechanism is comprised of a differential case, a transmission case, a clutch housing and an engine which are connected respectively and characterized in that the first shifting fork shaft in the clutch is movably protruded through one wall portion of the transmission case, and connected to one end of a first connecting rod member, a first shift lever being connected to the other end portion of said first connecting rod member. The length of said rod member is greater than the lateral vibrational distance within the vehicle, so that the amount of vibration reaching the shift lever from the transmission is greatly reduced to improve ease of shifting and ensure a positive shift.
