    Abstract: A motor includes a rotary shaft and a motor housing internally housing the rotary shaft. The motor housing is provided with a mounting hole in a position corresponding to an end of the rotary shaft. A detection rotor is fixed to the end of the rotary shaft. A detection stator includes a detection part made of resin into a plate-like shape having a surface on which a planar coil is placed, an outer peripheral wall axially extending from an outer circumferential edge of the detection part, and a flange radially extending from the outer peripheral wall. The detection stator is placed so that a surface of the detection part faces the detection rotor and the surface of the detection part faces to the inside of the motor housing in the mounting hole, and fixed to outside of the motor housing with a screw to the flange.

    Abstract: A zigzag sewing machine comprises a pattern data memory, a fixing stitch memory, a read-out unit, a controller, a determination unit, a switch-over mechanism and a stitch forming mechanism. The read-out unit reads out pattern stitch data from the pattern data memory means. Based on the read-out stich pattern data, the controller controls the stitch forming mechanism to form a pattern on a fabric. If a repeat sewing mode is selected, the controller repeatedly sews the pattern. Meanwhile, the determination unit determines if a given pattern whose sewing is in progress is a predetermined last pattern or a pattern which was not initially designated as a last pattern but was later redesignated as a last pattern by mode switching.

    Abstract: An air-fuel ratio controller of a variable-venturi type carburetor having an air inlet port opening at the upstream side of the suction piston, a branching chamber connected to a passage leading from the air inlet port and branching the passage into a bleed-side passage leading to the bleed portion of the carburetor and a by-pass passage leading to the downstream side of the suction piston, and a valve device disposed in the branching chamber. The valve device is adapted to move reciprocatingly to vary the areas of the bleed-side passage and the by-pass passage relatively in such a manner that, when the area of one of the passages is increased, the area of the other passage is decreased. In consequence, the position of the suction piston is never changed by the change in the amount of bleed air, so that the control of the air-fuel ratio of the mixture is very much facilitated.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for controlling the amount of secondary air fed into an internal combustion engine. This apparatus includes means for causing a sudden change of the level of the absolute pressure signal for driving the secondary air flow control means each time the level of the output voltage of the air-fuel ratio sensor changes. Thus, the equivalent air-fuel ratio is maintained for a long time within a desired range so that the highest purifying efficiency of the three-way catalytic converter can be attained.
