  • Publication number: 20100015434
Abstract: The invention prevents an assembling structure of the plated resin article from generation of squeak noise with suppressing increase in costs. The assembling structure includes a first member including a first resin molded article at least a first surface of which is coated by a coating film; and a second member including a second resin molded article at least a second surface of which is plated by a plating film. The first member and the second member are assembled so as to frictionally contact at the coating of the first surface and the plating film of the second surface; and the coating film includes a particle made from a fluorine resin. The generation of squeak noise can be suppressed with maintaining the physical properties of the coating film, such as gloss and re-coating ability.

  • Patent number: 6025064
Abstract: A reinforcing plate is overlaid with a decoration sheet with a first adhesive layer interposed, and heated and pressed to form first laminate. A surface of the decoration sheet in the first laminate is coated with a clear second adhesive layer of a liquid polyurethane resin, a surface of which in turn is overlaid with a clear film and heated and pressed to prepare a second laminate. The second laminate is placed within a mold and a resin is insert molded on the reinforcing plate in the second laminate. A clear hard coating is preferably formed on a surface of the second laminate in order to provide higher abrasion resistance.

  • Patent number: 5938881
Abstract: A decorative sheet is obtained by a process which comprises superimposing a reinforcing plate, a second hot melt adhesive sheet, a porous decorating sheet, a third transparent hot melt adhesive sheet, and a transparent film in sequence on a first hot melt adhesive sheet, and then subjecting the laminate to heat pressing. The decorative sheet is then inserted into the mold. A base resin is then injected onto the back side of the first adhesive sheet of the decorative sheet.

  • Patent number: 5833916
Abstract: A molded article containing an outer decorative film and a support, and a method and composition for making the same are disclosed. The outer film has a decorative layer and a protective layer, the protective layer being formed from a photopolymerizable resin composition. In an uncured state, the composition includes (a) an acrylic copolymer containing a backbone and at least one side chain linked to the backbone, the at least one side group having at least one (meth)acryloyl group, the backbone having a glass transition temperature of about 40.degree. C. to about 120.degree. C. and a weight-average molecular weight of about 10,000 to about 200,000; (b) a compound other than the copolymer (a), the compound having at least three (meth)acryloyl groups; and a photopolymerization initiator. The at least one (meth)acryloyl group is preferably linked to the backbone by a reacted glycidyl group.
