  • Patent number: 11971910
Abstract: Methods and systems for gathering information from a user include identifying an origin topic and a target topic. A path from the origin topic to the target topic is determined. The path includes a set of bridging topics, where each bridging topic in the path is within a threshold distance in a semantic space from a previous topic and a subsequent topic. An interactive conversation is conducted with the user, introducing each topic in the path until the target topic has been reached. At least one predetermined piece of information relating to a user response to the target topic is recorded.

  • Patent number: 11010518
Abstract: Swap insertion in mapping logical qubits on a quantum circuit is performed by obtaining an operation sequence including a plurality of operations to be executed on a quantum circuit. The quantum circuit including a plurality of physical qubits and a plurality of couplings. Finding a blocking set of operations including leading unresolved operation in the operation sequence. Calculating a first coupling score for each coupling of the plurality of couplings based on total reduction of shortest path lengths of a plurality of unresolved operations of the plurality of operations Selecting a coupling based on the first coupling score of each coupling. • Patent number: 10776333
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for building an object index used for retrieving an object matching a given query is disclosed. In the method, the computer system initializes a set of clusters, each of which represents at least one base object of a collection. The computer system also enumerates one or more additional clusters by combining multiple clusters from among the set. Each additional cluster represents at least one combinatorial object that has two or more base objects of the collection. The computer system further selects a new set of new clusters by clustering the set of the clusters and the one or more additional clusters, in which each new cluster represents at least one base or combinatorial object. Then, the computer system builds an object index based on the centers of the new clusters such that the object index covers the combinatorial object as a target of retrieval.
