  • Publication number: 20080261001
Abstract: Disclosed is a low thermal resistance surface mount component and a mounting substrate bump-connected therewith, capable of removing a soldered low thermal resistance surface mount component from a circuit board without harming the performance of the circuit board or the performance of the low thermal resistance surface mount component. The solder bumps 3 in an area approaching the periphery 2 of the low thermal resistance surface mount component 1 are composed of a solder of a melting point lower than that of the solder bumps 3 in an area approaching the center. The low thermal resistance surface mount component 1 on the circuit board can be removed by partial heating and by melting the solder bumps. However, when the component is partially heated in this manner, the heating temperature declines approaching the periphery compared to that of the center of the low thermal resistance surface mount component 1.

  • Publication number: 20060239855
Abstract: A hybrid mounting method using a Pb-free solder alloy including a reflow soldering step of soldering a surface mounting component 2 to at least the upper surface of a circuit board 1 using a Pb-free solder paste comprising an alloy based on Sn-(1-4)Ag-(0-1)Cu-(7-10)In (unit, mass %)-based alloy, an insertion step of inserting a lead or a terminal of an insertion mounting component 5 into a through hole perforated through the circuit board 1 from the upper surface thereof, a flux coating step, a preheating step, and a flow soldering step of spraying a jet flow 3 of Pb-free solder to the lower surface of the circuit board 1 preheated by the preheating step, thereby flow soldering the lead or the terminal of an insertion mounting component 5 to the circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20060167489
Abstract: Poly(L-lactic acid) (200,000 in weight average molecular weight and 175° C. in melting point) is melt-spun at 200° C. and drawn to obtain a single filament having a diameter of 0.05 mm. Two lengths of the filament are twisted to prepare a filamentous substance, which is cut to a length of 7 cm to obtain a vasoocclusive article 1 in the form of a single line. The occlusive article is free of the problems conventionally experienced.

  • Patent number: 5410847
Abstract: A junction for connecting a steel member to a structural member, such as a beam in a steel framed construction to a column in a reinforced concrete construction, a steel framed concrete construction or a steel framed construction. Junction hardware connect to the steel member and a rod-like orthogonal metal connector is provided in concrete structural members. The elements are connected by tightening bolts or by screw joints through a coupler. Since the metal connector is in a form of rod, the concrete member has a high packing property. Field welding work is omitted by connecting the metal connector to the junction hardware by a bolt connection method or by a screw joint method to facilitate assembly.

  • Patent number: 4905436
Abstract: A column/beam joint structure, made of steel members, in which a reinforcing member formed into a flat plate or into a strip shape so as to surround the outer periphery of the flange is interposed between a flange having a vertical plane constituting the column and a base plate constituting a connector fixedly fitted to an end of a beam. The flange, the reinforcing member and the connector are integrally joined together via a connecting fastener member.

  • Patent number: 4333285
Abstract: A building structure including a beam of steel or rod reinforced concrete which is sheathed in a U-shaped cross section steel shell, a concrete column which is encased in a steel tube, diagonal bracings and connecting members thereof. The topside of the U-shaped steel shell is open to allow concrete to be filled therethrough. Steel rods are placed in the shell and a steel panel connecting member secures the opposed sidewalls of the shell. Steel bars extend from a floor slab into the beam shell through the aforesaid open topside, thereby rendering the beam integral with the slab. Frame-like steel members for confining reinforcing bars and/or shear connectors are disposed in the inside of the beam shell. A steel sleeve is also provided in the beam shell for defining a space for disposition of equipment. In addition, an opening is provided in the bottom wall of the beam shell so as to allow steel rods to extend from the wall into the beam shell, thereby rendering the beam integral with the wall.
