Abstract: An information processing apparatus capable of printing printing information input from the outside of the apparatus using an incorporated printing device, an information processing method for such an apparatus, and a storage medium which stores control programs for such a method are provided. Also provided are an information processing apparatus which satisfies both a request to print printing information input from another information processing apparatus to an incorporated printing device and a request to print printing information formed by itself even if the two requests are simultaneously provided, an information processing method for such an apparatus, and storage medium which stores control programs for such a method.

Abstract: A printer receives image information from a host computer and performs printing based on the image information. When an optional unit is newly attached to the printer, the printer changes the device ID which is selected from an ID ROM in accordance with the optional unit. Then output from an interface circuit is changed so that the host computer detects the change of the output from the interface circuit. The host computer makes a device-ID request to the printer to obtain the device ID corresponding to the optional device. Then the host computer determines whether or not a printer driver which is currently operative corresponds to the printer with the newly-attached optional device.

Abstract: Heat resistant carbonate- and/or hydrogencarbonate-iron-Lf complexes in which one molecule of lactoferrin is bound with 15 molecules or over of iron via carbonic acid and/or hydrogencarbonic acid.Process for the production of above mentioned complexes prepared by adjusting pH.ltoreq.7 by adding alkali salts of carbonic acid and/or hydrogencarbonic acid to an aqueous solution containing an iron salt exhibiting pH.ltoreq.4 when dissolved in water and lactoferrins, or adding an iron salt and lactoferrin solution to carbonic acid and/or hydrogencarbonic acid solution, or adding the iron salt or its solution to a solution containing carbonic acid and/or hydrogencarbonic acid and lactoferrins.The resultant lactoferrin complexes are highly heat resistant and useful as raw materials of foods, medicines, feeds, cosmetics and so forth.

Abstract: A method of and a device for cold drawing seamless metal tubes, each tube having an upset portion on both ends. The draw bench comprises a reducing die, a die control unit, a plug control unit including a plug and a draw unit. The reducing die has an internal surface including an inlet portion which tapers rearwardly, a small diameter bearing portion and an oppositely inclined outlet portion. A plug includes a rearwardly tapered portion, a large diameter bearing portion, a forwardly tapered portion, a small diameter cylindrical portion, a rearwardly tapered portion and a large diameter cylindrical forward bearing portion. The plug control unit is mainly movable with respect to the die control unit by a pair of hydraulic units, but the control unit is also movable with respect to the plug control unit for changing a cross sectional reducing area between the reducing die and the plug.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a system for lubrication of a mechanical system and the like used under the severe conditions, and includes a lubricating oil feeding device to the mechanical system, a lubricating oil extracting device, a device for analyzing properties of the lubricating oil thus extracted and a device for controlling in accordance with the result of the analysis. As commensurate to the degree of the extracted lubricating oil, new lubricating oil is fed into lubricated portions from the feeding device in response to a command from the controlling device, while, the lubricating oil is extracted from the lubricated portions to renew the lubricating oil.

Abstract: A humidifier unit for use with a refrigerated display cabinet having a cooled air passage includes a body adapted to be mounted on an upper surface of the refrigerated display cabinet, a horizontally elongate atomizing water tank disposed in one side of the body and having a plurality of ultrasonic vibrators mounted on a bottom thereof and arrayed in a longitudinal direction, an air blower disposed in an opposite side of the body for supplying air drawn from a suction port into the atomizing water tank, and pipes angularly movably mounted on the atomizing water tank in coaction with the ultrasonic vibrators, respectively, for transferring a mist generated by the ultrasonic vibrators in the atomizing water tank and air from the air blower into the cooled air passage of the refrigerated display cabinet.

Abstract: An ultrasonic humidifier for atomizing water in a vessel by an ultrasonic oscillator and supplying atomized water with air into a room by a blower comprising a humidity sensor detecting the humidity in the room and a thermosensor detecting the temperature in the room. The operation of said ultrasonic oscillator is controlled in such a manner that the value of the detected humidity compensated by said thermosensor may be set for the desired value.

Abstract: A portable word processor incorporates a keyboard for typing-in data relating to a textual document, a microprocessor for processing the data, and a microcassette recorder for storing each page of the textual data when typing of the page is complete. A half-line character display is situated on an operating panel of the word processor above the keyboard. The microprocessor includes a text buffer memory having a capacity corresponding to one page, favorably 1800 characters or 66 lines. A cassette recorder interface is included to control operation of the cassette during transfer of textual data from the text buffer memory for storage on the microcassette tape, and transfer of the data to the text buffer memory from the tape for editing and revision of the textual document. The microcassette recorder can store pages of the textual data intermittently with voice recording, such as dictation, on the same tape.
