  • Publication number: 20230345132
Abstract: An information processing apparatus including a first processing unit configured to define an entirety indicated by multiple pixels as a single image, and identify a first histogram that is a histogram of brightness in the image; a second processing unit configured to set an adjustment amount in the first histogram; and a third processing unit configured to subtract, from the first histogram, a portion near a peak of the first histogram, based on the adjustment amount, and shift a histogram corresponding to the portion to an area of the first histogram at which the peak is at least relatively low to generate a second histogram.

  • Patent number: 6058142
Abstract: An image processing apparatus, wherein image data is stored in a current block memory and image data of a search range of a reference picture is stored in a search window memory. Using a gray code, the register file of the search window memory is read, candidate blocks are successively extracted, and the image data is successively input to processor elements. The data stored in the current block memory is input to a register and input through a barrel shifter to the processor elements. The processor elements find the differences of the current block and candidate blocks, find the cumulative values, compare the cumulative values of differences at a comparison unit, extract the candidate block giving the smallest value, and detect the motion vector based on the candidate block.

  • Patent number: 4988246
Abstract: Apparatus for indicating incomplete and complete fastening of a screw includes a washer and a ring of a generally flat synthetic resin sheet. The washer includes a pair of washer portions of a generally flat, round shape and a joint portion interconnecting the washer portions to face them in opposite directions to enable the washer portions to receive a shank of a screw in the openings thereof. The lengthwise section of the joint portion forms generally a U shape. The ring is made of a generally round, deformable material and is inserted between the pair of washer portions thus facing each other. The deformable material is expanded radially outward, when compressed by the washer portions receiving the shank of the screw when fastened. Upon the compressive force reaching a predetermined value, the ring will be broken due to the pair of washer portions overlaying one another.

  • Patent number: 4773196
Abstract: In a flooring panel, plural blocks are held by a holding member of a flexible material so that one section is formed by at least one block with a space for laying a cable defined between adjacent sections. A cover member overlying these spaces is arranged to present a surface continuous with the upper surface of the blocks to form a flat, top surface of the flooring panel. The flooring panel is in the form of a rectangular modular flooring panel of at least one shape and size. A plurality of cable laying spaces in communication with one another are defined by laying a plurality of such modular flooring panels on a building floor as a function of the amount of cables to be laid. In such a manner, the operation of cable laying and construction of the flooring panels on the permanent building floor may be performed more efficiently while the interaction between the cables of different kinds is minimized.

  • Patent number: 4525753
Abstract: In a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus having a multi-track head for writing a digital signal on a magnetic recording medium, a plurality of head of the multi-track head is electrically divided into a plurality of groups which are respectively driven by writing currents produced in accordance with a plurality of modulated signals indicative of input digital data. The writing currents fed to the heads of the same group are produced in response to a pulse signal such that a plurality of pulse signals having different phases are used for respective groups. The head in the same group are positioned so that they are not adjacent to each other, and therefore, undesirable crosstalk can be reduced because heads corresponding to adjacent tracks are prevented from being driven simultaneously, while the entire writing current power can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 4267560
Abstract: A color television receiver receiving two television signals of different channels, compressing the time axis of one of the television signals, and inserting this compressed television signal in a portion of the other television signal for displaying the pictures of the two channels on the same screen. In the receiver, the luminance signal, chrominance signal and synchronizing signal are derived from each of the received two television signals. A writing clock pulse signal is produced on the basis of one of the synchronizing signals for writing the luminance signal and chrominance signal in the corresponding television signal in a memory circuit, while a reading clock pulse signal is produced on the basis of the other synchronizing signal to read out the luminance signal and chrominance signal from the memory circuit in a relation in which these signals are compressed in the time axis.
