  • Publication number: 20070295833
Abstract: [Subject]A thermal spraying nozzle device and a thermal spraying system are to be provided which can supply a thermal spraying material constantly and can control the state of a film or deposit. [Solution] In a thermal spraying nozzle device wherein carrier gas is introduced into an inlet side of a nozzle to form a supersonic gas flow and a thermal spraying material is atomized and ejected by the gas flow, a storage section (4) for the storage of molten metal as the thermal spraying material is connected an end portion on the inlet side of the nozzle (2) through a connecting pipe, the nozzle has a throat portion (2a) for accelerating the introduced carrier gas to supersonic velocity and a divergent region (2b) formed downstream of the throat portion toward an outlet, the metal particles atomized by the supersonic gas being cooled to a solidified or semi-solidified state in the divergent region.

  • Publication number: 20070079951
Abstract: A heat storage unit capable of efficiently storing heat in a short time. The unit includes: a heat storage container 1a that houses sodium acetate 3, which stores heat by a state change between solid and liquid, and oil 2, which exchanges heat by directly contacting the sodium acetate 3, has smaller specific gravity than that of the sodium acetate 3, and is separated from the sodium acetate 3. Further, the unit includes: a supply pipe 4 that passes at least through the sodium acetate 3 housed in the heat storage container 1a and supplies the oil 2 into the heat storage container 1a; and a discharge pipe that discharges the oil 2 housed in the heat storage container 1a to the outside of the heat storage container 1a. Then, the supply pipe 4 crosses the boundary surface between the oil 2 and the sodium acetate 3 which are housed in the heat storage container 1a, has a plurality of discharge holes that discharge the supplied oil 2a, and at least one of the discharge holes 6 are positioned in the oil 2.

  • Patent number: 4941628
Abstract: Disclosed is a lift generating appartus for an aircraft which includes a generally circular principal wing with its peripheral portion bent downward, forming a bowl-shaped space opening downward; a high-pressure gas producing device provided on the principal wing; a plurality of jet nozzles provided within the central portion of the bowl-shaped space in a circular arrangement at angular intervals to jet a high-pressure gas produced by the high-pressure gas producing device radially outward from the central portion of the bowl-shaped space; and suction openings for sucking the external air as a secondary fluid from outside the bowl-shaped space by suction generated by the ejector effect of the high-pressure gas jetted from the jet nozzles. The supply of the secondary fluid into the bowl-shaped space in addition to the high-pressure gas further increases the static pressure within the bowl-shaped space, so that the lift acting on the principal wing is enhanced.
