  • Publication number: 20110213900
Abstract: There is provided a field communication management apparatus capable of setting configuration information segments with certainty without causing a burden, and an inexpedience at the time of an operation for setting. A reception unit receives download information. A setting unit sets individual information segments contained in download information received by the reception unit in a corresponding field device and a gateway itself. A communication limiting unit prohibits communication between the field device and host devices for a period before the individual information segments are set in the field device and the gateway itself, respectively, by the setting unit.

  • Publication number: 20110187490
Abstract: A control network system may control a control target by using control data. The control network system may include a wireless field device that transmits the control data through a wireless communication, a relay apparatus that relays the control data from the wireless field device, the relay apparatus including a storage unit that stores identification data of the wireless field device, the storage unit storing a flag associated with the identification data, the flag showing a progress state of commissioning of the wireless field device, and a host system that receives the control data from the wireless field device through the relay apparatus, the host system including a control unit that discontinues operation of controlling the control target when the flag is in a nonsteady state.

  • Patent number: 7990880
Abstract: A transmitting and receiving section transmits data to which a time measured in a first device is attached, from the first device through a communication line, and receives the data in a second device. A communication abnormality detecting section detects an abnormality in a communication between the first device and the second device on the basis of the received data. A time lag detecting section detects a time lag between the first device and the second device by comparing the time attached to the data with a time measured in the second device at the time of receiving the data.

  • Patent number: 5572615
Abstract: A waveguide type optical device connected with optical fibers and electronic wires, for converting an optical signal to an electronic signal vice versa, including a chip housing body housing an optical waveguide chip, a light emitting and detecting device assembly fitted to one side wall of the chip housing body and including both light emitting element and light detecting element precisely arranged so that the light emitting and detecting device assembly is fitted to the chip housing body by simple optical adjustment performed between waveguide terminal of the waveguide chip and the light emitting, detecting elements respectively. The chip housing body has structure so that the light emitting and detecting device assembly is the one side wall of the chip housing body and the optical fibers are connected with the waveguide chip through other side wall opposite to the one side wall, by applying a folded waveguide to the waveguide chip.
