  • Patent number: 5246111
Abstract: A magazine for a roll-type of photosensitive material having: an inner holder including a back plate made of paper; side plates made of paper connected with both sides of the back plate; supporting members each composed of plural accumulated disks and made of paper for supporting both ends of a spool around which the photosensitive material is wound; and a lightproof box made of paper to cover the inner holder. A slit through which the photosensitive material is pulled out is formed by a folded portion of the back plate and a lid portion of the lightproof box. A lightproofing material is provided to the folded portion of the back plate and the lid portion of the lightproof box at the slit. The supporting members are pivotally held by the side plates through a metallic or a synthetic resin shaft.

  • Patent number: 5054710
Abstract: A spool for winding a photographic roll of film in a camera. The spool includes a shaft having a slit formed by opposed walls one of which has a protrusion extending into the slit and positioned between two ribs of the other wall. The protrusion is received in a perforation of the film tongue to wind the film when the spool is turned in a winding direction. When the film is unwound, the film tongue smoothly and reliably slips out of the slit as the perforation wall slides down an angled wall of the protrusion so that the film is released from the spool.

  • Patent number: 4834310
Abstract: The invention provides a spool for winding a photographic roll film. The spool has a bar-shaped spool core which is slitted to lengthwise direction to form a slit for inserting a tongue-shaped end of the film having a through hole. On an inside wall of the slit, there is provided a catch claw capable of engaging the through hole. On another inside wall opposite to the above inside wall, there is provided a pressing rib for pressing and guiding the tongue-shaped end to the catch claw. A part of the outer surface of the spool core, adjoining to the inside wall of the slit in which is disposed the pressing rib, is shaped to serve as a film contact surface. The tip surface of the pressing rib and the film contact surface both jointly form a continuous shape of a circular arc.

  • Patent number: 4668472
Abstract: A process for the continuous preparation of slides to be chemically analyzed comprises forming regularly a plurality of hollows on an advancing web material; putting a piece of film to be chemically analyzed in each of the hollows; sticking a long covering member having a plurality of apertures corresponding in their positions to the hollows on the web material onto the surface of the web material so that the apertures and the hollows on the web material are in registration; and cutting the circumference outside of each of the hollows. Also disclosed is a slide to be chemically analyzed which comprises a web material having a hollow in the central region thereof in which a film to be chemically analyzed is put, a covering member having an aperture on the surface thereof stuck to the web material; and downwardly extending flanges on a circumferential portion of the slide having heights substantially equal to that of the hollow to stabilize positioning of the slide.
