Patent number: 5251833Abstract: A method of winding an armature of an electric rotating machine, wherein vectors representing amounts of unbalance measured at the respective winding portions are composed to obtain a basic resultant vector which in turn is split into two components directed along two adjacent winding portions. The two components are then used to calculate amount of unbalance based on which the number of turns of two armature windings to be wound around the two adjacent winding portions is corrected and the number of turns of armature windings to be wound around the respective winding portions is determined. Finally, the armature windings are formed around the respective winding portions based on the determined number of turns.Type: GrantFiled: November 5, 1991Date of Patent: October 12, 1993Assignee: ASMO Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshiyuki Furuhashi, Toshiyuki Masuda

Patent number: 4810842Abstract: A frame assembly for mounting an electric wiring device to a building panel comprises an exposing frame having a front plate to be disposed on a front face of the panel, and rearwardly extending side plates projecting through an aperture in the panel. The side plates carry projections arranged to underlie an edge of the aperture to retain the exposing frame to the panel. A supporting frame is provided for holding at least one of a plurality of modularized wiring devices. The supporting frame is disposed to the rear of the panel when the supporting frame is coupled to the exposing frame. The supporting frame includes tongues arranged to be positioned to the inside of the projections of the exposing frame to elastically support the projections from being uncoupled from the panel. The modular-dimensioned wiring devices are thereby allowed to be mounted to the panel easily without screws or the like.Type: GrantFiled: September 3, 1987Date of Patent: March 7, 1989Assignee: Matsushita Electric Works, Ltd.Inventors: Masayuki Kanaya, Toshiyuki Masuda, Osamu Yamada

Patent number: 4780872Abstract: A remote supervisory and controlling system in which a central control unit generates a dummy transmission signal until receipt of an interruption signal from one of a plurality of input terminal units. In response to the interruption signal, the control limit accesses the input terminal generating the interruption signal, which returns its input data.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 1986Date of Patent: October 25, 1988Assignee: Matsushita Electric Works, Ltd.Inventors: Toshiyuki Masuda, Osamu Yamada, Akihiko Hamada, Masayuki Kanaya

Patent number: 4608561Abstract: A time division multiplexing load control system having a central controller unit for controlling individual terminal units to connect and disconnect loads connected respectively thereto and manual switch means for directly controlling the loads without reverting to the central controller unit is disclosed. A plurality of terminal units are connected through a shared line to the central controller unit to be controlled thereby so as to turn on/off the loads connected to respective terminal units. Each terminal unit connecting the loads is provided with a load-switching circuit for actuating respective load driving relays incorporated therein to connect and disconnect the loads. The load-switching circuit includes switch means which responds to output data signal from the central controller unit to open and close the load-switching circuit for the ON/OFF drive of the load remote from the central controller unit.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 1983Date of Patent: August 26, 1986Assignee: Matsushita Electric Works, Ltd.Inventors: Yutaka Kojima, Toshiyuki Masuda, Nobuo Hisamatsu

Patent number: 4408250Abstract: A system for controlling an electrical load having a magnetic latching relay operable in response to a change in the direction of current through said relay. A control circuit is provided having a switch with one contact connected to a contact of the relay. A first current path and second current path are supplied to a second contact of the switch. The current paths are enabled when the switch operating member connects the relay to the second contact. One of two current carrying paths are provided between the second contact and a source of electrical voltage.
