  • Patent number: 6208503
Abstract: A capacitor element (10) fabricated by winding an anode foil (1) and a cathode foil (2) via a separator (3) is impregnated with a 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene and an oxidizing agent to form poly(ethylenedioxythiophene) by chemical polymerization. A nonwoven fabric composed chiefly of a synthetic fiber is used as a separator, enabling a solid electrolyte to be favorably formed without being reacted with the oxidizing agent. Preferably, the capacitor element is dipped in water at 80 to 100° C. for 1 to 20 minutes to dissolve and remove the binder in the separator in order to preclude adverse effects on the electric characteristics caused by the binder. The oxidizing agent is used at a concentration in excess of 40% by weight with respect to the solvent, so that the degree of polymerization is high and a dense and homogeneous solid electrolytic layer is formed.

  • Patent number: 5797245
Abstract: A bag storage device for automatically receiving wet umbrellas installed for example, in a bag storage device at the entrances of hotels, stores, buses, trains and the like for receiving a wet umbrella in a bag which is simply arranged and securely takes an umbrella in the receiving bag. The receiving bag is loaded in the main body of the device and an opening operation member for opening a receiving opening end of the receiving bag is arranged so that the insertion opening is opened by rotating the opening operation member with the point of the umbrella. The umbrella is automatically and easily taken into the bag without using a motor. Thus, the present invention can provide an extremely practical device which can be used where there is no electric power source as well as can reduce the manufacturing cost, without possibilities that an electric cord will become a hindrance and that an electric leak will occur.

  • Patent number: 5526631
Abstract: The storage device for umbrellas sacks of the present invention comprises: a body where a number of storage sacks are stored; a movable support base arranged to move vertically in the body; a wear plate that makes said movable support base lower when it contacts an edge of an umbrella; and open control levers that open the storage sacks in the descending motion of said movable support base. The storage device is structured so that the umbrella can be automatically inserted in the storage sack when the open control levers open the storage sack in the descending motion of the movable support base by contacting the wear plate with the edge of the umbrella. The wear plate simultaneously sweeps back by rotating downward.

  • Patent number: 5497374
Abstract: A data transmission method and system of a token passing type capable of periodically transmitting cyclic data produced in a station to other stations while enabling a packet data communication with high efficiency and without disturbing the periodicity of the cyclic communication. A token circulation time is set to be shorter than a cycle time for production of the cyclic data where no packet data to be transmitted. Also each station will pass an acquired token immediately to the next station if the station has no data to be transmitted. Thus, at least one station can have a token at least two times during the cycle time to transmit the cyclic data and the packet data. Upper limits may be set to capacities of the cyclic data and the packet data which are capable of being transmitted each time the token is acquired.

  • Patent number: 5293301
Abstract: A lead frame to be used for a semiconductor device, comprising: a heat sink having a peripheral area and a central projected land on which a semiconductor chip is to be mounted. The heat sink has a relatively good heat radiating characteristic. A plurality of inner leads are provided, each having an inner end superimposed on the peripheral area of the heat sink by an insulating material. A semiconductor chip has a chip surface on which a junction pattern is arranged, and is mounted on the projected land of the heat sink by an insulating adhesive so that the chip surface faces the projected land. TAB leads are provided for electrically connecting the semiconductor chip to the inner leads, and a sealing resin hermetically seals at least the semiconductor chip.

  • Patent number: 5088410
Abstract: A plate lockup apparatus for a printing press includes leading- and trailing-side plate lockup tables, leading- and trailing-side gripper plates, a plurality of plate gripper cams, spring members, and plate tightening cams. The leading- and trailing-side plate lockup tables axially extend on one side and the other side in a gap of a circumferential surface of a plate cylinder. The leading- and trailing-side gripper plates are pivotally supported to oppose the leading- and trailing-side plate lockup tables and are biased in a plate release direction. The plurality of plate gripper cams are mounted on a plate tightening pivot shaft and a trailing-side pivot shaft parallel to the leading- and trailing-side gripper plates at equal intervals and pivot the leading- and trailing-side gripper plates in a plate gripping direction upon pivotal movement of the pivot shafts.

  • Patent number: 4680757
Abstract: In each node accommodated in a token-ring network system, a storage unit for storing priority levels is constituted by a plurality of flip-flops which provide bit positions of the same number as that of grades of the priority level. When storing a value of priority level which is higher than a value of priority level stored in the storage unit, the corresponding flip-flop of the storage unit is set. Two priority encoders connected to the output of the storage unit detect, from data of priority level stored in the storage unit, first and second priority levels and load then on registers, respectively. In accordance with the contents of the registers, the corresponding flip-flop of the storage unit is rest, when each node detects a value of priority level stored in the storage unit.
