  • Patent number: 6550130
Abstract: In manufacturing the iron core of a divided stator, a plurality of pole pieces with fitting portions formed on both sides of pole portions are laminated and fixed to one another. A plurality of the pole piece laminates are arranged in the form of a ring and the outer or inner circumference is held with a jig. A non-magnetic and high-rigidity connecting member is press-fit in the laminating direction into fitting portions of a plurality of adjacent pole piece laminates, thereby a plurality of adjacent pole piece laminates are positioned with high accuracy and rigidly connected to one another.

  • Patent number: 6459224
Abstract: In a roller conveyor system for carrying out zone control, a conveyed article can be stopped in an approximately constant position without varying the position where the article is stopped in a desired control zone even if the weight of the article varies. In order to syop the article in a predetermined control zone, such stop control is carried out that a motor is decelerated and stopped in a plurality of braking systems depending on the change in the pulse width of a rotational pulse signal to stop the article with high precision in a predetermined stop position.

  • Patent number: 6456032
Abstract: A motor driver for drive-controlling a brushless motor being provided with a delay circuit that detects the motor pulse. When a stop signal is inputted, a transistor is activated, which in turn activates an electric brake to brake the brushless motor, while at the same time, the motor pulse detected by the motor driver is inputted to the delay circuit. After the stop signal is inputted, the motor pulse declines, which is detected by the delay circuit to activate the electromagnetic brake. The delay circuit is provided on the driver substrate for the motor driver.

  • Patent number: 6415914
Abstract: A conveyor system is divided into a plurality of zones each including a plurality of rollers arranged in parallel with each other. The zones are arranged successively for conveying articles from the upstream end to the downstream end of the conveyor system. One of the rollers in each zone is a drive roller. Article detectors are disposed in association with the respective zones and develop an article-representative signal when they detect an article in the associated zones. A current detector detects the sum of currents flowing through motors driving the drive rollers and develops a excessive-current representative signal when the sum current exceeds a reference current value. A current suppressing circuit connected to the article detectors and to the current detector causes limited currents to be supplied only to motors including the motors in the zones where the first and second in order ones of articles being conveyed are present.

  • Patent number: 6390249
Abstract: In a roller with a built-in motor, which is powered by a brushless motor and stopped by an electromagnetic brake, when an electric current is supplied to the brushless motor, an electric current is supplied at a certain voltage to the electromagnetic coil to release the electromagnetic brake. The rpm of the brushless motor is detected; and when it reaches a certain predetermined level, the supply of the electric current to the electromagnetic coil is turned off and on in a short period of time, thus maintaining the released condition of the electromagnetic brake. By turning off and on the supply of the electric current to the electromagnetic coil, the average voltage can be maintained low, and the heat generation can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 6360869
Abstract: A transverse conveyance apparatus for roller conveyors comprises a frame, a crosswise feeding mechanism mounted to the frame and a lift device for raising and lowering the frame. Each of rotating portions of the crosswise feeding mechanism is of a width freely movable through between two adjacent rollers of the conveyor. The lift device comprises a cylinder, lids closing opposite ends thereof, fixed shafts protruding outwards and longitudinally of the cylinder that is coaxial with said shafts capable of rotating relative to the lids, a motor built in and driving the cylinder to rotate around and relative to the shafts, a reducer built therein, and a resistance unit also built therein and increasing resistance against rotation thereof. Attachment-engaging portions are formed on the respective lids and disposed longitudinally of the cylinder to face outwards so that the portions and the cylinder rotate together. The portions have axes arranged offset with respect to axes of the shafts.

  • Publication number: 20020024305
Abstract: In an elevating device used in, for instance, a wheelchair, having a plurality of elevating assemblies at several positions and using compact brushless motors for driving the elevating assemblies. A run signal or a stop signal is sent to each of the brushless motors via a synchronous operation circuit. Whether a signal is a run signal or a stop signal is determined by comparing the pulse signals corresponding to rotations of the brushless motors with each other; and when the pulse signal of one brushless motor is larger than the pulse signal of another brushless motor, the brushless motor having the larger pulse signal stops.
