  • Publication number: 20240112571
Abstract: A congestion prediction device, a congestion prediction method, and a storage medium are provided. A mapping outputs an output variable when input variables are input to the mapping. The output variable indicates a degree of congestion in a predetermined specific area. The mapping is learned in advance by machine learning. The input variables include congestion variables. Each of the congestion variables indicates a degree of congestion in the specific area at regular time intervals within a specific period. The output variable indicates a degree of congestion after a lapse of the regular time interval from an end time of the specific period.

  • Patent number: 6350100
Abstract: A device for controlling tilt of a forklift mast. A fork for carrying an object is supported by the mast so that the fork is lifted or lowered. A tilt cylinder operates to tilt the mast hydraulically. A hydraulic valve supplies oil to the tilt cylinder in correspondence with the position of a tilt lever. The tilt cylinder tilts the mast at a speed corresponding to the flow rate of the oil supplied by the valve. A restricting valve is provided for restricting the maximum flow rate of the oil. When the fork is located below a predetermined reference position, the controller fully opens the restricting valve. However, when the fork is located at the reference position or higher, the controller restricts the opening of the restricting valve, thus restricting the maximum tilt speed of the mast. This stabilizes the forklift.

  • Patent number: 6164415
Abstract: A lift control valve is switched based on the manipulation of a lift lever, so that a lift cylinder extends or retracts to move a fork, supported on a mast, to move up or down. A check valve, which is actuated with a pilot pressure, is placed between the lift control valve and the lift cylinder. A pilot pipe led out from a pipe directly coupled to an oil tank is connected to a port of the check valve. A tilt control valve is switched based on the manipulation of a tilt lever, so that a tilt cylinder extends or retracts to tilt the mast. An electromagnetic valve is disposed between the tilt cylinder and the tilt control valve. When values necessary to drive the fork are detected, a controller control the electromagnetic valve based on those values.

  • Patent number: 6125970
Abstract: A hydraulic device for a forklift is disclosed. The forklift includes a tilting mast and a fork supported by the mast so that the fork is lifted and lowered. A tilt cylinder operates to tilt the mast by means of oil supplied by a tilt valve. A restricting valve is arranged in an oil passage connecting the tilt cylinder with the tilt valve. When the mast is tilted with the fork carrying an object and located higher than a predetermined reference position, the restricting valve closes the oil passage so that the angle of the tilting mast is limited. A check valve is arranged between the tilt cylinder and the restricting valve. The check valve blocks oil flow from the tilt cylinder to the restricting valve so that the position of the mast is maintained. This prevents unintentional movement of the mast.

  • Patent number: 5083646
Abstract: A hydraulic device for operating a clutch in an industrial vehicle having a transmission comprising shift changeable gears and manually operated shift levers. Gear actuating hydraulic boosters are provided for hydraulically actuating the shift changeable gears, and the clutch is actuated by a clutch cylinder. The hydraulic device comprises a clutch circuit extending between a hydraulic pump and the clutch cylinder, and a booster circuit extending between the hydraulic pump and the boosters. A gate valve is arranged in the clutch circuit and is movable in response to pressure of hydraulic oil in the booster circuit, so that the normally closed gate valve is opened when the manually operable shift levers are operated. Also, a pressure control circuit is branched from the clutch circuit and again branched into parallel third and fourth hydraulic circuits. A forward and reverse gate valve and a speed change gate valve are arranged in the third and fourth hydraulic circuits, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4986199
Abstract: A method is proposed for recovering high-temperature exhaust gases of high inflammability in terms of carbonaceous concentration from the partial combustion, at atmospheric pressure or near atmospheric pressure, of a mixture of pulverized bituminous or subbituminous coal and air as oxidizer gas, enriched with oxygen gas in a combustor apparatus having a cylindrical combustion chamber with a tangential injection duct, through which the fuel mixture is introduced into the combustion chamber to develop into a rapidly swirling vortex optimizing burning over a short period of time. As a result, the high-temperature, inflammable exhaust gases are generated, of which the heat is recovered to produce steam in a boiler. After losing portion of their heat to the boiler, the inflammable gases, following purification by a filter and desulfurization unit, recovery for subsequent thermal use in boilers, metallurgical or other chemical processes.

  • Patent number: 4916462
Abstract: When selecting a coordinate grid pattern within which to record data on a chart, a line of such grid pattern is selected as a reference line recordable by one of the elements of a recording head. A reference level corresponding to that reference line is provided. One heating element is ranked in terms of position across the thermal recording head. A discrepancy in ranking between that one heating element and a heating element of the recording head with which the reference level is recorded on the chart is noted. A shifting in ranking pursuant to such a noted discrepancy is effected until the heating element with which the reference level is recorded and the above mentioned one heating element with which the reference line of the grid pattern is recorded have become identical.
