Abstract: In a sealant-incorporated tire including a loop-shaped sealant chamber filled with a sealant 5 and defined between a tire body 1 and an inner liner 8 by superposing and adhering the inner liner 8 onto an inner surface of the tire body 1, a sealant charging bore 8a is formed in the inner liner 8, and the sealant 7 is charged into the sealant chamber 6 through the sealant charging bore 8a. Then, air present in the sealant chamber 6 is discharged by evacuation and thereafter, a crude rubber sheet74 is adhered in a state in which the periphery of the sealant charging bore 8a has been clamped, thereby closing the sealant charging bore 8a. Thus, it is possible to charge the sealant 7 in a short time, and also to prevent heat generated during vulcanization and formation of the tire from being applied to the sealant 7, thereby preventing the deterioration of the sealant 5.

Abstract: An automatic parts feeder has a bed, a base movable on the bed in a first direction, a hopper assembly mounted on the base, a delivery mechanism, a transfer mechanism, and a supply mechanism for supplying parts to a processing machine. The supply mechanism supplies the parts in a second direction normal to the first direction, and includes a movable assembly movable in both the first and second directions, a swing arm pivotally supported on the movable assembly and angularly movable in a plane normal to the second direction between a substantially vertical upstanding position and an inclined position, and parts receivers detachably mounted on the swing arm for receiving, holding, and releasing the parts.

Abstract: A slide fastener stringer includes a stringer tape and a series of fastener elements sewn to the tape by means of stitches with upper and lower legs of the elements lying one on each side of the tape. The sewing stitches include a needle thread extending across and over the lower element legs and a looper thread having loops extending through the tape and between adjacent elements, and interlooped with the needle thread at the side of the tape on which the lower element legs are disposed. The looper thread further includes loops extending over the upper element legs and interlaced with the first-named loops of the looper thread at the other side of the tape.
