  • Publication number: 20240042614
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, that provide for welding techniques for manufacturing robots, such multipass welding techniques for welding robots. For example, the welding techniques may enable generation of weld instructions based on a welding fill plan. The instructions may be generated based on a bead model or a table that indicates a wire feed speed, a travel speed, or a voltage. As another example, the techniques may enable generation of weld instructions based on the one or more dimensions of a seam. As another example, the techniques may enable generation of a joint model of a cross-section of a seam to be welded. The joint model may be generated based on a combination of a plurality of feature components to generate the joint model of the seam. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

  • Publication number: 20230034055
Abstract: A system for noninvasively monitoring physiological data of non-human animals, said system includes a sensor module having a transmit antenna, a receive antenna and a microprocessor. The transmit antenna being configured to wirelessly transmit electromagnetic waves to an area in the vicinity of an animal. The receive antenna being configured to receive modulated signals back from the animal that have been modulated as a function of physiological characteristics of animal. A hub having a processor and configured to receive signals from the sensor module. The processor in the hub being further configured to compare the signals from the sensor module with previously obtained data and generate an alert to a user if the comparison indicates an abnormal physiological characteristic of the animal.

  • Publication number: 20220185069
Abstract: Multiple vehicle heating systems are disclosed providing a multilayered heating fabric to provide thermal radiation to vehicle occupants. In one embodiment, a heating system comprises a plurality of electrical bus bars and a heating fabric. The plurality of electrical bus bars connect to a battery within a vehicle to receive electrical power. The heating fabric comprises a conductive layer, and a non-conductive layer. The conductive layer comprises a plurality of non-uniform conductive fibers disbursed within a binder. The non-uniform conductive fibers are in electrical communication with at least two of the plurality of electrical bus bars. The non-uniform conductive fibers are adapted to convert electrical power to thermal radiation. The non-conductive layer insulates the conductive layer from the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11264940
Abstract: A solar collector includes a roller rotatably attached to a vehicle. A carrier fabric panel is attached on one end to the roller. Side guides are attached the sides of the carrier fabric panel. Solar cells are connected in series and are attached to the carrier fabric panel. The solar cells are connected to an electrical power storage system. Electrical leads are attached to the carrier fabric and electrically coupled to the solar cells. Electrical conductors are attached to the carrier fabric between the solar cells and the right and left guides or are provided with retainer strips. A slip ring connector is disposed on the roller for electrically coupling the electrical conductors to an electrical power storage system. The solar energy collected may be used to power actuatable accessories or passive systems that may draw power when the vehicle is not being operated.

  • Patent number: 6315759
Abstract: A protective cover is used to surround one or more elongated members such as a plurality of intravenous lines. In alternative embodiments, the cover may be used to cover or protect baby crib rails, bicycle frame sections, handles and other items. The cover preferably assumes the form of a generally cylindrical hollow tube composed of a flexible, resilient material such as closed-cell foam. The tube includes a slit running lengthwise down the tube, enabling the tube to be placed around and over the elongated member by spreading the slit to expose a pair of adjacent, opposing surfaces, each with a length equal to the length of the tube and a width equal to the thickness of the wall. The tube preferably further includes means, other than the tube itself, for maintaining the tube in position around the member.
