  • Publication number: 20230258023
Abstract: A selectively operable door (50) for a robotic vehicle (10) may include a door frame disposable in a barrier dividing two areas in which the robotic vehicle (10) is enabled to travel, a door body (54) hingedly connected to the door frame (52), and a latching assembly configured to alternately allow movement of the door body (54) such that the robotic vehicle (10) to enabled to pass through the selectively operable door (50) via displacement of the door body (54) and prevent movement of the door body (54) such that the door body (54) is retained in a closed state. The latching assembly may include an automatic lock configured to define a release position in which movement of the door body (54) from the closed state is allowed, and a capture position in which movement of the door body to the closed state is allowed and movement of the door body from the closed state is prevented.

  • Publication number: 20150135542
Abstract: A knob sub assembly for adjusting bar clamp tension holding a chainsaw bar of a chainsaw to a chainsaw body of the chainsaw may include a cap, a nut and a feedback assembly. The nut may be threaded to facilitate engagement with a fixing post of the chainsaw body responsive to a transfer of torque from the cap to the nut when the cap is rotated by an operator. The feedback assembly may be disposed substantially between the cap and the nut to at least selectively transfer torque from the cap to the nut. The feedback assembly may provide feedback to the operator when a predetermined threshold of applied torque is reached.

  • Publication number: 20130345003
Abstract: A chainsaw includes a chainsaw body, a chainsaw bar configured to be operably coupled to a cutting chain, and a clutch cover disposed proximate to a portion of the chainsaw bar to facilitate clamping the chainsaw bar to the chainsaw body. The clutch cover may be configured to receive a tension sub assembly disposed at a portion of the clutch cover to enable both adjustment of chain tension in a first mode of operation and clamping of the chainsaw bar in a second mode of operation. The tension sub assembly may include a mode shift mechanism configured to move between a first position in which the tension sub assembly operates in the first mode and a second position in which the tension sub assembly operates in the second mode.

  • Publication number: 20090278509
Abstract: A control system is adapted to control an internal combustion engine, which has a battery for electric start operation and a mechanical starter for manual start operation. The control system includes a transformer configured to generate a high voltage output for providing a spark, and a power regulation circuit having an input adapted to receive the high voltage output and generate a low voltage supply. A battery charging circuit includes a switching element adapted to receive the low voltage supply and operatively couple the low voltage supply to the battery to charge the battery. The battery charging circuit includes a disconnecting circuitry diode operatively coupled to the switching element so that if a voltage level of the battery falls below a predetermined value, the disconnecting circuitry diode turns off the transistor to electrically disconnect the battery from the low voltage supply and disable the electric start operation.

  • Publication number: 20090255502
Abstract: A starting system for an engine having a crankshaft with a first end and a second end that includes a recoil-type manual pulley configured to selective engage a first ratchet mechanism operatively connected to the first end of the crankshaft and an electric motor gearingly connected to a starter gear having a cam assembly configured to selective engage a second ratchet mechanism operatively connected to the second end of the crankshaft.
