  • Patent number: 11276110
Abstract: Sales management and video chat systems and methods use website listings that correspond to vehicles for sale at a place of business. A remote visitor clicks a “live video” button beside a desired consumer good, and schedules a time for a video chat, using their web browser. A salesperson receives an alert, via a sales application running on on the salesperson's mobile device. At the scheduled time, a video chat window opens in the visitor's web browser with live audio/video of the desired consumer good from the place of business in real-time. The website visitor uses their web browser for live communication, in real-time, to the salesperson on their sales application. After the video chat, the website visitor can use their browser to download and save a recording of the video chat session.

  • Publication number: 20210129320
Abstract: In a method for automatically handling objects, the objects are held by means of an object gripper or the like and are subjected to a handling process, a transport process, or an assembly process in the held state. The position of at least one surface section of the held object relative to a contact surface of the object gripper or the like is monitored by means of at least one position sensor arranged at the object gripper or the like; and a warning signal or control signal is generated in the event of a change of the position during the handling process, the transport process, or the assembly process.

  • Patent number: 10750122
Abstract: Vehicle sales management and video chat systems and methods use website listings that correspond to vehicles for sale at a dealership. A remote visitor clicks a “live video” button beside a desired vehicle, and schedules a time for a video chat, using their web browser. A dealership salesperson receives an alert, via a sales application running on on the salesperson's mobile device. At the scheduled time, a video chat window opens in the visitor's web browser with live audio/video of the desired vehicle from the dealership in real-time. The website visitor uses their web browser for live communication, in real-time, to the salesperson on their sales application. After the video chat, the website visitor can use their browser to download and save a recording of the video chat session.

  • Patent number: 10279237
Abstract: A sports training apparatus occludes peripheral vision of each eye across the nose region of a player by creating a visual divide that extends from and immediately adjacent to the nose along the central sagittal plane. In various embodiments, the visual divide is extendible, removable and replaceable, pivotal, and may incorporate scribes to vary shape or geometry. The visual divide may further be mounted from a pair of glasses without lenses, though other embodiments with and without lenses are contemplated. The eye divider is used to align or confirm alignment of a player properly to ensure that the player batter has both eyes facing in the proper direction.

  • Patent number: 9047280
Abstract: An apparatus for position determination has an optical scanning unit which is to be moved relative to a surface and which includes an image sensor for detecting light intensity patterns of light which is reflected by the surface. The apparatus furthermore has an electronic processing unit which is associated with the image sensor and configured to determine a traveled movement path and/or a movement speed of the optical scanning unit relative to the surface from a difference between light intensity patterns detected after one another in time. A further processing unit is configured to produce an intensity correlated signal which correlates with the intensity of the light reflected by the surface. An evaluation device is associated with the image sensor and is configured to recognize a graphical code pattern located on the surface with reference to the intensity correlated signal and to read out information from the code pattern.

  • Patent number: 6226569
Abstract: A rotary transmitter for registration of the steering angle of a motor vehicle, with a transmitter component (49) on which is provided a coding (51) of a predetermined number n of locally sequentially digital words (Wi) with a width of m bits (b1, b2, . . , Bm) in m adjacent to each other tracks, at least one detector (55) for essentially simultaneous registration of the individual bits (b1, b2, . . . , Bm) of a digital word (Wi), whereby the transmitter component (49) and at least the one detector (55) are movable relative to each other, and with an evaluation unit (11) to which is conducted the signal of at least the one detector (55). The evaluation unit (11) ascertains the absolute position of the transmitter component (49) relative to at least the one detector (55), at least one time, by evaluation of a predetermined number (p) of sequentially detected digital words (Wi), whereby the evaluation unit (11) assigns to a detected p-measure (Wi, Wi+1, . . .
