  • Publication number: 20220226979
Abstract: A hydraulic tool includes a tool head and a moveable piston coupled to the tool head. The hydraulic tool head includes a plurality of jaws, which are operable to open and close for performing work on a workpiece. The hydraulic tool also includes a motor operable to drive the moveable piston to close the plurality of jaws to a closed position at which the work on the workpiece is completed. The hydraulic tool further includes a position sensor configured to detect when the plurality of jaws are at the closed position and responsively generate a sensor signal indicating that the plurality of jaws are at the closed position. Additionally, the hydraulic tool includes a controller configured to receive the sensor signal from the position sensor. The controller is configured to operate the motor based on the sensor signal that the controller receives from the position sensor.

  • Publication number: 20140082206
Abstract: In a networked system connecting a subscriber to a content source via one or more networks, a computer-implemented method includes instantiating a session model for a media session between the subscriber and the content source, the session model to generate session metadata from application-layer interactions between the subscriber and the content source. The method further includes instantiating an interaction model in response to detecting an application-layer interaction in a transport flow of the subscriber, the application-layer interaction comprising media data for the media session. The method also includes generating, at the interaction model, interaction metadata representative of the application-layer interaction, and processing at least one of the interaction metadata and the media data at the session model to generate session metadata responsive to matching the interaction model to the session model.

  • Patent number: 8464210
Abstract: The invention is directed to method of generating database encoded software for controlling operation of a data processing device. The method comprises providing a formal language specification representative of source code for the software, translating said formal language specification into data suitable for storing in database structures and in a form suitable for being queried by a database query language and storing said data in database structures of a database. The method includes using a software development tool in a software development and testing environment to manipulate the database encoded software using a database query language such as SQL and XQuery to develop new software features. The query language can also be used to control replication and/or synchronization of the database encoded software with the contents of a data processing device control program database by way of installing said control program on said device or upgrading the control program software of said device.
