  • Publication number: 20200114298
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for an integrated, dual-chamber, gas separator-receiver. The integrated, dual-chamber, gas separator-receiver can comprise a first and second column, which is integrated, and plumbed together. A source gas can be input through an inlet in the first column, and a target gas, separated from the source gas, can be output through an outlet in the second column. The first column can contain agents that dry the source gas, and separate the target gas from the source gas. The source gas can then be fed into the second column, where it is stored under pressure, at least until needed by some target operation that utilizes the target gas.

  • Patent number: 8328538
Abstract: Piston assemblies for rocking piston compressors, diaphragm compressors and vacuum pumps wherein the overall mass of each piston assembly is identical to that of the other assembly despite having rod tops, retainers and diaphragms of different diameters and therefore different capacities. Each piston assembly includes a connecting rod connected to a rod top that supports a cup seal and a retainer or retainer plate. The mass of each rod is equal to that of the other rod despite the differing geometries. The mass of each retainer is the same as that of the other retainer despite the differing geometries. The overall length and stroke length of each piston assembly is the same. As a result, centers of gravity of the piston assemblies are continuously balanced on either side of the drive shaft in terms of distance from the drive shaft and in absolute value.

  • Patent number: 8128382
Abstract: A dual rocking piston pump which includes a first piston with a first connecting rod eccentrically mounted to a rotor shaft and a second piston with a second connecting rod eccentrically mounted to the rotor shaft. The rotor shaft passes through a first bearing and a second bearing before being connected to a rotor body. The rotor body is disposed within a stator. The first and second bearings and stator are supported by a bracket. The bracket includes a hub which, in turn includes a first end connected to a wall at an opening in the wall. The hub also includes a second end. The first end of the hub supports the first bearing at the wall and the second end of the hub supports the second bearing. Both the first and second bearings are disposed in front of the motor or in front of both the rotor and stator.

  • Publication number: 20110143311
Abstract: A compact suction and separation device is shown and described. The suction and separation device includes a pump and a separator. The pump includes a vertically oriented rotary vane pump comprising a suction inlet and an exhaust outlet. The separator includes a collector configured to receive combinations of solids, liquids and air. The separator separates solids and/or liquids from the air. Air from the separator is routed from an air discharge into the suction inlet of the pump. Solids and/or liquids are drained from a liquids/solids discharge of the separator. The separator may be gravity-based or centrifuge-type separator driven by the pump motor.
