    Abstract: A rectifier circuit (400) is provided. The rectifier circuit is comprised of a plurality of field effect transistors (102, 104, 106, 108) coupled together to define a rectifier circuit. The rectifier circuit is also comprised of a control circuit (600) and a switching device (420, 430, 440, 450). The switching device is configured to selectively disable a conduction channel extending between a source and a drain of at least one of the field effect transistors in response to the control circuit to prevent a shoot-through current in the rectifier circuit.
