  • Publication number: 20200404895
Abstract: A threading device and fishing tool for threading line and the like into and through a desired opening includes a needle and a needle holder. The needle includes an interconnection area for connection with a line. The needle is held in place in a holder by either permanent magnets or electromagnetic means. In use, the tip of the needle is first inserted in or through the desired area while the needle remains connected to the needle holder in the needle base area. The needle tip returns to the needle holder while next the needle base becomes separated from the needle base holder area allowing the needle and line to be inserted through an opening or into material. The threading device may be used independently or be part of a fishing tool which may include a knot tying portion, line clippers, line cutter, and fishhook threading assistance region.

  • Patent number: 10359096
Abstract: A cord locking device (100) applies compressive forces and restrictive configurations to at least one end of a cord (138) for inhibiting movement of a cord (138) placed around or through first and second objects (146, 172). The cord locking device (100) receives at least a first cord end (142) that passes through a cord lock device (106) and an aperture (126) in a threadably engageable cap (124). The cap (124) applies a frictional force on the cord against the cord lock device to prevent movement of the cord through the cord lock device. A second end of the cord (164) may be inserted into the body portion of the cord lock device (106) to be secured frictionally or alternatively, a second end of a cord may be attached to a connector device (140) which in turn is mechanically attached to a top region of the cord lock device (106).

  • Patent number: 10066428
Abstract: A cabinet closure device is made from a section of cord and utilizes two cord stop devices to form a loop of cord that is adjustable and securable around two objects to be secured. A user slides the closure device around two objects and then pulls on both of the loop ends to secure the closure device around the objects. To release the closure device, the user need only release the cord stops and the closure device will be loosen and the objects released. For the best function, the knot on the end of the cord that does not have the cord stop should be pulled tight against the main cord stop. Once the unit is placed around the knobs of a cabinet, the user can simply pull the 2nd cord to tighten the device. Once tight, the additional cord stop can be slid upwards abutting the main cord stop.

  • Patent number: 9210969
Abstract: A reusable connecting device that includes a strap with a first end a second end, wherein the strap features teeth located on one of the ends. The reusable tie wrap includes a housing with an opening, which is configured to engage with the teeth of the strap. An attachment mechanism is located on the tie wrap, which is configured to allow for connection, disconnection and reconnection with an attachment mechanism of another device. The attachment mechanism may be a two part buckle enclosure or side-release buckle. In another embodiment, the reusable connecting device may also be coupled to an adjustable connecting device. The adjustable connecting device is configured to be secured to an object with which the reusable connecting device is to be utilized.

  • Publication number: 20150267447
Abstract: A cabinet closure device is made from a section of nylon or similar cord and utilizes one or more cord stop devices to form a loop of cord that is adjustable and securable around two objects to be secured from movement or opening. A user slides the closure device around two objects and then pulls on one or each of the loop ends to secure the closure device around the objects. To release the closure device, the user need only release the cord stop and the closure device will be loosen and the objects (doors or drawers for example) may be opened. For the best function, the knot on the end of the cord that does not have the traditional cord stop should be pulled tight against the main cord stop. Once the unit is placed around the knobs of a cabinet, the user can simply pull the 2nd cord to tighten the device. Once tight, the additional cord stop can be slid upwards abutting the main cord stop. In this configuration, the cord is locked on both ends securely and cannot be forced open.

  • Publication number: 20070131227
Abstract: An improved aquatic device for use with goggles features a support base sized and shaped to fit near the back of a user's head and is secured against the user's head by way of the goggle strap. Various equipment may be secured to the support base including a snorkel and/or a light. In the preferred embodiment, the support base includes a connection system that allows the various equipment to be removably secured to the support base such that the user to select the equipment most suited to the intended application. The snorkel preferably includes a splash guard that prevent water from entering the air passageway. Additionally, flexible tubes connect the snorkel secured to the support base to the mouthpiece. The flexible tubes are arranged such that they extend behind the user's head and beneath the user's jaw. As a result, drag is significantly reduced and mobility and comfort are increased.

  • Publication number: 20050211270
Abstract: A foot cleaning device includes a basin defining a cavity for holding a quantity of liquid (such as water and soap). A grate is disposed within the cavity and includes a plurality of open regions. At least one (preferably a plurality) brush or pad is arranged under the grate such that an upper portion of the brush/pad is disposed above the grate through the open regions. The brush/pad is operatively connected to a motor which moves the brush/pad along a longitudinal axis A of the cavity, thereby contacting the foot and removing debris from the foot. In another embodiment, the brush/pad also rotates about a direction B that is substantially perpendicular to, and in the same plane as, the longitudinal axis A. The rotation of the brush/pad prevents debris from building up on the surface of the brush/pad and aids in the removal of debris from the foot.
