  • Patent number: 10299118
Abstract: A request including a user identifier is received from a third party to authenticate an access attempt by a person. The input of the user identifier is not accompanied by a password. A listing of associated mobile devices is transmitted to the third party. The person selects a mobile device to which an authentication notification should be sent. The notification is pushed to the mobile device. A user of the device views the notification and verifies whether the access should be allowed or denied. If access should be allowed, a first one-time password (OTP) is generated and transmitted to an authentication server. The server generates a second OTP. If the second OTP matches the first OTP, the server notifies the third party that access should be permitted. If the second OTP does not match the first OTP, the server notifies the third party that access should be blocked.

  • Publication number: 20170155569
Abstract: A method is implemented by a computing device to automatically generate a virtual machine (VM) template to be used by a test orchestrator for creating a virtualized testing environment in which to perform a networking test. The method includes obtaining a test script from a test script repository, parsing the test script to determine a set of network devices involved in the networking test and a network connectivity among the set of network devices, and generating the VM template based on the set of network devices involved in the networking test and the network connectivity among the set of network devices, where the VM template defines a configuration of networked VMs that virtualizes the set of network devices involved in the networking test and the network connectivity among the set of network devices. A test orchestrator can administer creation of the virtualized testing environment based on the VM template.

  • Patent number: 7472313
Abstract: A primary server and a backup server that both run a RADIUS client in a cold start configuration share a single IP address that includes a limited number of message identifiers (MIDs). The primary server and the backup server each have a small number of fixed message identifiers. In addition, a large number of shared message identifiers are used by the primary server, and then used by the backup server a predetermined time after the primary server fails.
