  • Publication number: 20100182425
Abstract: A vehicle interior state recognition device comprises an illuminating means for illuminating infrared rays into a vehicle compartment, an image pick-up means for picking up an image inside the vehicle compartment into which the infrared rays are illuminated by the illuminating means, and a recognizing means for recognizing specified information based on the image picked up by the image pick-up means. Objects of the image picked up by the image pick-up means include a seat which is movable relative to a vehicle body and a passenger seated in the seat, and the recognizing means determines a size of the passenger by comparing contour of the seat with contour of the passenger on the image picked up. Accordingly, the body size of the passenger seated in the seat can be determined accurately.

  • Patent number: 6918289
Abstract: An air pressure information display device of a vehicle tire has a normal air pressure storage module (10a) for storing a normal air pressure of a tire corresponding to a tire temperature, an excessive/deficient amount detection module (10b) for detecting the excessive/deficient amount from the normal air pressure on the basis of the stored normal air pressure, and air pressure information detected by an air pressure information detection module (6-9), and a display control module (10c) for controlling a display (11) to display the detected excessive/deficient amount. Hence, since the user is informed of the excessive/deficient amount from the normal air pressure, he or she can appropriately determine an air pressure state of a tire even when he or she does not recognize the normal air pressure.

  • Publication number: 20040218042
Abstract: An all-directional monitoring camera 10 mounted, straight or with inclination forward and/or laterally outward with respect to vertical direction, on a bumper 1 on a side remote from a steering wheel 2 comprises a reflecting mirror 13 and a camera 14 operative to image a peripheral scene reflected by the reflecting mirror 13 that are enclosed within a casing 11 having a transparent wall 12 surrounding entirely the reflecting mirror 13. The monitoring camera 10 is movable between a working position where the reflecting mirror 13 is positioned right above an outermost end b 1a of the bumper 1 so as to include an outermost end profile of the bumper in a field of view and a hidden position where the monitoring camera 10 stays in hiding in the vehicle body. An image formed by the monitoring camera 10 displayed on a monitor display 20 includes a break line Lz representing the outermost end profile of the bumper 1.

  • Patent number: 6542071
Abstract: When a “window automatic opening mode” is set in advance by a window automatic opening mode setting switch (14), and the user who carries a portable unit (1A) approaches an onboard unit, doors are automatically unlocked, and a window of a predetermined door is opened when the electric field strength of a radio signal from the portable unit (1A) becomes larger than a predetermined value. This function can be disabled by the window automatic opening mode setting switch (14).

  • Patent number: 5121511
Abstract: A shower device includes a plurality of nozzles provided to a housing, supplied hot and cold water to the nozzles being turned on and off through solenoid valves which are provided in a self-maintaining type and are supplied with a power from a low voltage power source through a controller. The device is thereby made simple and easy in its installation and to be operable for a long term with considerably low voltage and small power.

  • Patent number: 5118072
Abstract: A solenoid valve is formed with a first pressure chamber defined to be above a valve seat with and from which a valve member engages and disengages and to communicate with a fluid supply side within a valve housing, and solenoid means mounted to the valve housing with a pilot valve interposed between them while defining a pilot chamber below the pilot valve and a second pressure chamber above the pilot valve, the pilot chamber communicating with the first pressure chamber and with a fluid discharge side of the valve member. The pilot valve actuated by the solenoid means for a relatively smaller displacement allows the main valve member to be actuated to open and close the valve, whereby the solenoid means and eventually the entire valve can be minimized in size, and any impurity contained in flowing fluid can be prevented from adhering to a movable member in the solenoid means for assuring a highly reliable operation of the valve for a long term.
