Abstract: A pair of regulating guides is disposed on both sides of a conveying belt in a sheet width direction Y, each having a support surface that supports an end edge in the width direction of the sheet conveyed while being nipped by the conveying belt and balls and a guide surface that faces the end edge of the sheet in the width direction. Each of the pair of regulating guides is movable to a first guide position at which the end edge of the sheet in the width direction is supported by the support surface and guided by the guide surface and to a second guide position at which the end edge of the sheet in the sheet width direction is supported by the support surface and which is retracting further away from the end edge in the sheet width direction than the guide position.

Abstract: A lubricating oil composition may contain a base oil (A) and a dispersant-type viscosity index improver (B), in which the nitrogen atom content based on the solid content of the dispersant-type viscosity index improver (B) is 0.50 to 1.50% by mass, and the weight-average molecular weight (Mw) thereof is 100,000 or more, and the content in terms of the solid content based on the total amount of the composition of the dispersant-type viscosity index improver (B) is more than 0.05% by mass and less than 5.0% by mass. The lubricating oil composition may exert excellent wear resistance in a state contaminated with soot.

Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a filter in which a liquid having phenol filtration capability is prevented from leaking out even after prolonged storage; and a flavor inhalation article equipped with said filter. The problem is solved by a filter that is for a flavor inhalation article, and that has a filtering medium including a biodegradable material, and a paper roll wound around the filtering medium. The filtering medium contains a liquid having a phenol filtration capability. A surface of the roll paper where a contact is made with the filtering medium is made of a layer exhibiting liquid-repellent properties with respect to said liquid.

Abstract: An image processing device includes an acquisition unit that acquires a read image generated by reading a receipt or a bill, a first character recognition unit that performs first character recognition processing on the read image, a second character recognition unit that performs second character recognition processing, a storage unit that stores in advance a relevant information where a specific character and a position of a target area to be a target of the second character recognition processing are related to each other, and a control unit that extracts the specific character from a result of the first character recognition processing, specifies the target area in the read image based on the extracted specific character and the relevant information, and causes the second character recognition unit to perform the second character recognition processing on the specified target area.

Abstract: A host apparatus communicates with a server that stores binary data containing a host apparatus supporting program that is necessary when the host apparatus is used with a predetermined one of a plurality of devices and a download program that downloads the host apparatus supporting program to the predetermined device, recognizes the predetermined device when the predetermined device is connected to the host apparatus, outputs a request to acquire the binary data to the server, stores the binary data in a storage unit of the host apparatus when the server inputs the binary data, executes the download program contained in the binary data stored in the storage unit to download the host apparatus supporting program to the predetermined device, and deletes the binary data from the storage unit after the download program is executed or when the use of the predetermined device is completed.
