The printing cost calculation apparatus includes a hardware processor that calculates the printing cost based on the calculation information transmitted from the terminal apparatus and outputs a calculation result of the printing cost.

The information of layout designated by a personal computer is invalidated when the layout has been set for the mail bins designated by an external personal computer. By storing in a memory the image data edited in the layout to be produced when the supply of papers has run out, the printer permits effective use of the memory and a reduction in the time of output.

When the judgment of Step S25 results in the affirmative, e-mail including completion of these print jobs destined for the EMAILTO name is created and transmitted to the client terminal.
