    Abstract: Velocity control of two plungers provided in a pulsationless duplex plunger pump is effected by detecting pressure of a resultant discharge from the two plungers and positions of the plungers, and correcting sequentially a velocity instruction of the each plunger, based on pressure corresponding to the detected position of the each plunger so that the sum of velocities of the two plungers will be constant.

  • Oil separator

    Abstract: An oil separator for separating oil from exhausted gas containing refrigerant gas and fine particles of oil incorporated in the refrigerant gas including grooved plates each formed with a multiplicity of grooves on opposite surfaces to allow the exhausted gas to flow in a direction substantially at right angles to the grooves, whereby the fine particles of oil can be trapped by the grooved plates. The oil separator can achieve increased oil separation efficiency.

  • Swash plate type compressor

    Abstract: In a swash plate type compressor, an oil separating chamber is arranged in the course of the flow of coolant gas from an inlet to a low pressure chamber. An oil accumulating chamber is formed between the rear end of the drive shaft and the rear side cover. The oil accumulating chamber is communicated with the oil separating chamber and with a thrust bearing through an oil passage formed in the drive shaft. The thrust bearing is lubricated by use of oil from the oil accumulating chamber.
