    Abstract: A control method is disclosed to prevent false triggering of over-current protection. A power converter comprises high-side and low-side switches connected in series between an input power line and a ground line, for driving a resonant circuit to resonate. The power converter includes a detector detecting the resonant circuit to provide a detection signal representing a magnitude of resonance in the resonant circuit. A duty cycle of one of the high-side and low-side switches is detected, and a threshold is determined in response to the duty cycle. An over-current protection is triggered based on the threshold and the detection signal. When the over-current protection is triggered, at least one of the high-side and low-side switches stops providing power to the resonant circuit, and the resonance subsides.

    Abstract: A phase sequence adjustment system includes a power conversion circuit and a control circuit. The power conversion circuit is connected to a main power supply with a phase sequence. The control circuit respectively provides a first and a second excitation signals to the power conversion circuit, so as to short the power conversion circuit with the main power supply twice. The control circuit includes a current detection circuit and a control unit. The current detection circuit obtains two current signals respectively during two short-circuit operations. The control unit calculates two current phase angles respectively according to these two current signals and determines whether the phase sequence is positive or negative accordingly. The control unit selects one from the two current phase angles, calculates a voltage phase angle of the main power and a phase angle difference there-between to adjust a feedback phase sequence accordingly.

    Abstract: Methods for preparing a void-free protective coating are disclosed herein. The void-free protective coating is used on a dielectric window having a central hole, which is used in a plasma treatment tool. A first protective coating layer is applied to the window, leaving an uncoated annular retreat area around the central hole. The first protective coating layer is polished to produce a flat surface and fill in any voids on the window. A second protective coating layer is then applied upon the flat surface of the first protective coating layer to obtain the void-free coating. This increases process uptime and service lifetime of the dielectric window and the plasma treatment tool.
