  • Patent number: 11929318
Abstract: A package structure includes a thermal dissipation structure, a first encapsulant, a die, a through integrated fan-out via (TIV), a second encapsulant, and a redistribution layer (RDL) structure. The thermal dissipation structure includes a substrate and a first conductive pad disposed over the substrate. The first encapsulant laterally encapsulates the thermal dissipation structure. The die is disposed on the thermal dissipation structure. The TIV lands on the first conductive pad of the thermal dissipation structure and is laterally aside the die. The second encapsulant laterally encapsulates the die and the TIV. The RDL structure is disposed on the die and the second encapsulant.

  • Publication number: 20110057620
Abstract: A charge/discharge protection circuit adapted in an electronic apparatus and a discharge protection method are provided. The charge/discharge protection circuit comprises a positive electrode, a ground for discharging, a switch module, a battery module, a negative electrode for charging, a sensing device and a control module. The battery module is electrically connected to the switch module and the ground to form a discharging path. The switch module is electrically connected to the positive electrode. The sensing device is electrically connected to the battery module and the negative electrode to form a charging path. The sensing device passively disconnects the charging path when the charging path is abnormal. The control module actively turns the switch open when the discharging path, the charging path or the battery module is abnormal.

  • Patent number: 7749643
Abstract: A protective battery holding structure includes a heat-resistant battery holder that defines a receiving space for receiving at least one battery therein and is provided with at least one rib protruded toward the receiving space to point-contact with an outer surface of the battery. The point contact of the battery with the ribs on the heat-resistant battery holder prevents heat produced by the battery during operation from transferring to and thereby damaging an outer case of the battery holder. The ribs also increase the structural strength of the battery holder and stably locate the battery in the battery holder.
