  • Patent number: 6709050
Abstract: A folding chair with a front chair leg pivotally connected to a rear chair leg at a pivot point. The front leg has an elongated slide with a slide washer. A slide magazine having a U-shaped cross-section is movably disposed in the slide of the front chair leg. A bottom end of the slide magazine includes a fitting hole to receive a rear pivot shaft of the seat. The rear chair leg is pivotally connected to the front chair leg at the pivot point. The pivoting sections of the seat and front and rear chair legs are all hidden, with only the pivot point exposed. The chair is light and easy to operate.

  • Patent number: 6669281
Abstract: Pull rod-type foldable chair structure. A pull rod is telescopically inserted in the top end of the rear chair leg and pivotally connected with the front chair leg. When folding or unfolding the rear chair leg, the pull rod provides a pneumatic buffing effect. Two J-shaped lateral support boards are previously mounted on inner sides of the chair frame, whereby the seat can be directly assembled with the support boards by insertion. The back is assembled with the upper end of the front chair leg by engaging members. Therefore, the chair frame, the seat and the back can be quickly assembled. The transverse beam of the chair leg is equipped with elastic ground-contacting blocks. Therefore, the chair can be used on any floorboard made of any material such as wooden, plastic and stone floorboards. The ground-contacting block will not scrape the floorboard and the chair can be more stably placed on the ground.

  • Publication number: 20030234562
Abstract: Slide rail-type metal foldable chair. The front chair leg is pivotally connected with outer side of the rear chair leg at a pivot point. The inner side of the front chair leg is formed with a slide rail. A slide rail washer is laid on the opening of the slide rail. A slide magazine is up and down slidably disposed in the slide rail of the front chair leg. The bottom end of the slide magazine is formed with a fitting hole. A rear pivot shaft of the seat for pivotally connecting with the front chair leg is fitted through the fitting hole and located therein. The inner wall of top end of the rear chair leg is formed with a pivot hole. The front pivot shaft of the seat is fitted through the pivot hole and located therein by a retainer ring. Therefore, the pivoted sections of the seat and the front and rear chair legs are all hidden and only the pivot point of the front and rear chair legs is exposed. The foldable chair is light and can be easily operated.

  • Patent number: 6623082
Abstract: Ground-contacting block structure of a chair for preventing the chair leg from scraping wooden floorboard and other high glass floorboards. The ground-contacting block is designed with different patterns respectively for fixing under bottom end of a column-type chair leg and latching under the transverse beam of a U-shaped chair leg. The ground-contacting block is composed of a mother pad and a daughter pad which are made of two different materials with different elastic coefficients. The mother pad is fixedly connected with the chair leg. The daughter pad is assembled with the mother pad and protrudes from the bottom of the mother pad. The daughter pad is resiliently softer than the mother pad. Therefore, the chair legs can more stably and silently contact with the ground without scraping or wearing the floorboard.

  • Publication number: 20020093576
Abstract: A passive control system for taking a three dimensional picture comprises a 2D-3D converting device, and a rotary disk apparatus. The 2D-3D converting device at one end thereof connects with a digital picture taking apparatus via a shift interface and at the other end thereof connects with a data processing center. The 2D-3D converting device provides a preset program to regulate the digital picture taking apparatus with a start of scanning at a preset time. The rotary disk apparatus provides a positioning interface to connect with a rotary disk thereof and the rotary disk is able to stay in place after turning a preset angular displace in accordance with the preset program. An object to be taken a picture is placed on the rotary disk and is taken a picture by the digital picture taking apparatus as soon as the rotary disk is turned the preset angular displacement once.

  • Patent number: 6095597
Abstract: A collapsible chair includes a pivotal member having a lower pivot hole for connecting with an upper portion of two front feet and an upper hole for connecting an upper end of two rear feet. The lower pivot hole and the upper pivot hole are not aligned but on different surfaces. Two touch blocks are respectively fitted around a lower horizontal rod of the two front feet and of the two rear feet. Each touch block has a position edge protruding from a front side or a rear side. A seat is provided with a pivot base at two opposite sides for connecting with the two rear feet, and each pivot base has a recessed flat face respectively in an upper and a lower side. A backrest is provided with an armrest at two opposite sides, and the armrest has an acute angle member formed under it.
