  • Patent number: 6798160
Abstract: An electric working machine has an electric motor and a speed adjustment member for undergoing movement within a range of positions including a low speed range position in which the electric working machine travels at a low speed, a high speed range position in which the electric working range position in which the electric working machine travels at a speed intermediate of the low speed and the high speed. A potentiometer receives a voltage which varies in dependence on the position of the speed adjustment member within the range of positions. A control unit controls the electric motor in accordance with the variation of the voltage received by the potentiometer to vary a travel speed of the electric working machine so that a rate of change of the travel speed of the electric working machine is smaller when the speed adjustment member is in the intermediate speed range position than when the speed adjustment member is in each of the low speed range position and the high speed range position.

  • Patent number: 6734647
Abstract: Control section determines necessary acceleration of a transporting section in accordance with an actual transporting speed, and also determines a correction coefficient corresponding to the number of rotations of an engine from among correction coefficients having a characteristic of becoming closer to a value of one as the number of rotations of the engine increases. The control section multiplies the necessary acceleration by the correction coefficient to thereby provide corrected necessary acceleration, and controls rotation of a transporting drive motor in accordance with the corrected necessary acceleration. When the amount of electric power to be generated by a power generator driven by the engine has increased, the control section controls the opening of a throttle valve.

  • Patent number: 6705028
Abstract: A self-propelled snowplow vehicle includes a vehicle frame equipped with an auger at a front end portion thereof and pivotally connected to a propelling frame equipped with driving wheels, and a frame lift mechanism for lifting the front end portion of the vehicle frame up and down relative to the propelling frame. The frame lift mechanism comprises an electro-hydraulic cylinder actuator having a piston rod and an electric motor rotatably driven to produce a fluid pressure for reciprocating the piston rod in response to operation of a manual operating switch. The snowplow vehicle also includes a control unit arranged to forcibly stop the electric motor when a predetermined time has elapsed after the operation switch is activated, the predetermined time being equal to an operating time of the cylinder actuator which is required to extend or contract the piston rod over a maximum stroke defined between a fully extended position and a fully contracted position of the piston rod.

  • Patent number: 6674010
Abstract: An electronic device connection cable includes a transmission part including 18 high-speed signal lines, 20 ground lines, and 22 low-speed signal lines. The electronic device connection cable further includes a tube-shaped sheath within which the transmission part is disposed such that the surface of the transmission part is covered with the sheath. The transmission part includes a first layer disposed at an outermost location, a second layer which is radially inwardly adjacent to the first layer, and a third layer which is radially inwardly adjacent to the second layer. In the first layer, 12 high-speed signal lines and 12 ground lines are alternately disposed. In the third layer, the remaining 6 high-speed signal lines and 6 ground lines are alternately disposed. In this structure, any two high-speed signal lines are not disposed at directly adjacent locations, and thus it is ensured that data can be transferred in a highly reliable fashion without being significantly influenced by noise.

  • Publication number: 20030079924
Abstract: Upon satisfaction of three predetermined conditions that 1) a straight-ahead travel instruction has been given, 2) an actual number of motor rotations is less than a target number of motor rotations and 3) a motor control signal produced to bring the actual number of motor rotations closer to the target number of motor rotations has reached a predetermined upper-limit output value, a downward motor-rotation correction process is performed repeatedly to progressively reduce the target number of motor rotations or to reduce the upper-limit output value of the motor control signal until the respective actual numbers of rotations of the left and right motors to substantially coincide with each other.

  • Patent number: 6543548
Abstract: A working vehicle 1 includes front wheels Wf steered by a steering wheel 8, and rear wheels Wr driven through a transmission system T incorporating static hydraulic pressure type continuously variable transmissions. A speed change operating device M for controlling speed change of the transmission system T accelerates or decelerates right and left rear wheels Wr at same rotating speed by operation of a change lever 10, and also generates a difference in rotating speed between the right and left rear wheels Wr by operation of the steering wheel 8. The steering characteristic on the basis of operation of the steering wheel 8 varies depending on the vehicle speed set by the change lever 10, so that an appropriate steering characteristic may be obtained if the vehicle speed is changed.

  • Patent number: 6541938
Abstract: In a small electric motor vehicle equipped with an electric motor for driving wheels through a reduction gear mechanism, a first predetermined voltage is immediately applied to the electric motor when a drive-off instruction is generated from vehicle standstill and then the voltage is increased at a predetermined rate until the voltage exceeds a second predetermined voltage, and is then controlled such that the driving speed converges to a desired speed. With this, since the application of the first predetermined voltage slightly rotates the electric motor to take up reduction gear mechanism backlash, shock at drive-off caused by reduction gear mechanism backlash can be reduced or eliminated even when a high-capacity electric motor is used to enhance hill-climbing performance, and smooth drive-off is possible.

  • Publication number: 20020122300
Abstract: Side frame plates 20, 20 are mounted on both the sides 13a, 13b of an external storage device 10. One side frame plate 20 is furnished with leaf springs 29 which lie in touch with one side wall surface 53 of an accommodation housing 50 and which push the external storage device 10 toward the other side wall 53. Besides, the upper ends of frame plates proper 21 are formed with protrusions 26 which make the full width Wa of the side frame plates 20 longer than the spacing H between the top and bottom wall surfaces 51, 52 of the accommodation housing 50. The protrusions 26 are collapsed by plastic deformation in the process of accommodating the external storage device into the accommodation housing 50.

  • Publication number: 20020114461
Abstract: An ID (MID) is attached to each individual optical disk, and content is encrypted with a Content-Key and registered. In addition, a system server device maintains a Client ID of a client terminal device, HDD-ID of a hard disk drive (HDD), and MC-ID of a memory card respectively held as user entry information. When the user wants to copy the content, together with the optical disk MID, the MC-ID is sent to the system server side. The system server device identifies the user by referencing the MC-ID in the user entry information, and returns a Content-Key, which is used when encoding content. On the user side, content stored in the optical disk is decrypted using the returned Content-Key and copied to the HDD. Accordingly, copying of content is allowed only for an authorized user who is the lawful owner of the storage media.
