  • Patent number: 7749573
Abstract: An actinic radiation curable ink-jet ink comprising: a metal complex pigment; a cationically polymerizable compound; a polymer dispersing agent having a basic functional group exhibiting an amine value of 5-40 mg/g; and a photo acid generating agent, wherein the cationically polymerizable compound comprises an oxirane ring. The aforesaid actinic radiation curable ink-jet ink enable to achieve an ink-jet ink exhibiting excellent storage stability, ejection capability, and curability after ejection, and enables formation of highly detailed images which realize high density, uniform glossiness, and excellent color reproduction, and forms no wrinkling, and provide a image forming method using the same.

  • Patent number: 5968451
Abstract: A process for sterilizing a container holding a fluid diet, the container having a long and slender mouth and being filled with the fluid diet and sealed; the process includes the steps of filling the container with the fluid diet in a heated state, sealing the container at the mouth thereof, and thereafter turning the container with its mouth side down to immerse only the mouth and the vicinity thereof in a hot-water bath for a period of time sufficient to achieve sterilization. An apparatus for carrying out the process includes a bucket conveyor, a feed conveyor, a bucket and a bath. The process and apparatus can well sterilize containers holding a fluid diet and having a long and slender mouth. • Patent number: 4241689
Abstract: A coating apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a coating head having a slide face along which a coating liquid flows down and a roll moving a continuous web downwardly. The slide face and the roll define a space for forming a sustained liquid mass therein. The coating head has a bottom face which is provided with a groove in the proximity of and substantially parallelly to the slide face whereby a thin liquid film is formed on the web at high speed.
