Publication number: 20100089225Abstract: An electronic keyboard apparatus capable of changing, with a simple construction, a musical tone control characteristic for each pedal manipulation stroke section. A detection value representing a pedal depression depth is converted into an output value according to a table group, and a musical tone parameter is controlled based on the output value. The table group includes default and alternate tables exhibiting a hysteresis such that the output value converted from the same detection value becomes smaller in a reverse pedal stroke than in a forward pedal stoke. In the forward stroke, the default table is changed to the alternate table when the detection value passes a second threshold value provided on a deeper depression depth side than a first threshold value. In the reverse stroke, the alternate table is changed to the default table when the detection value passes the first threshold value.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 8, 2009Publication date: April 15, 2010Applicant: Yamaha CorporationInventor: Tsuyoshi MARUYAMA

Publication number: 20100034552Abstract: There is provided an image forming device, comprising: a first electrical load; a second electrical load; a voltage generation circuit that generates a second voltage to be applied to the second electrical load; a shunt circuit that located between an output side of the voltage generation circuit and the first electrical load; and a controller that executes first control of controlling the shunt circuit to change a first voltage applied from the shunt circuit to the first electrical load to a first target level, and second control of controlling the voltage generation circuit to change the second voltage to a second target level. The controller executes voltage change suppression control of controlling the second voltage such that change of the second voltage becomes gentler as a difference between the first voltage and the first target level becomes larger.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 5, 2009Publication date: February 11, 2010Applicant: BROTHER KOGYO KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Tsuyoshi Maruyama, Masahito Hamaya, Kazushi Shumiya

Publication number: 20100024628Abstract: Each parameter is provided with increase/decrease switches and a slider. In a case where a user desires seamless rough control of the value of a target parameter, the user is to use the slider. In a case where the user desires easy control of the value of the parameter with the smallest unit of the resolution, the user is to use the increase/decrease switches. Since the slider specifies a parameter value in accordance with the position of the manipulated slider, the range within which the parameter value can change is determined on the basis of the current parameter value and the maximum value and the minimum value of the parameter. Because the increase/decrease switch increases/decreases a parameter value by “1” at each manipulation, the range within which the parameter value can change by a single manipulation of the increase/decrease switch is “±1”.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 29, 2009Publication date: February 4, 2010Applicant: YAMAHA CORPORATIONInventor: Tsuyoshi MARUYAMA

Patent number: 5832736Abstract: A counterflow heat exchanger has a pair of disklike end plates between which there are disposed a multiplicity of disklike heat transfer walls. The heat transfer walls have peripheral flanges which are fluid-tightly joined to each other to provide spaces between the walls. There are a first and a second pair of spaced openings defined through each heat transfer wall for the passage of a first and a second fluid respectively therethrough. Each heat transfer wall is additionally fluid-tightly joined to an adjacent heat transfer wall on one side thereof at their edges bounding the first pairs of openings, and to another adjacent heat transfer wall on another side thereof at their edges bounding the second pairs of openings, so that two sets of flow paths for the two fluids are formed alternately by and between the heat transfer walls. The two pairs of openings in each heat transfer wall are situated adjacent the peripheral flange thereof for uniform fluid distribution throughout each flow path.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 1997Date of Patent: November 10, 1998Assignee: Orion Machinery Co., Ltd.Inventors: Masuo Yoshioka, Hiromoto Ohta, Tsuyoshi Maruyama

Patent number: 5040967Abstract: An apparatus for vertically moving a ram in a compression molding machine having a ram slidably fitted within an outer cylinder. The ram has a hollow portion which includes an oil reservoir. A piston is slidably fitted within this hollow portion. A source of air pressure is connected to a space between the piston and the top of the hollow portion. As air pressure is applied, the piston will move so as to displace oil from the hollow portion. A pilot check valve is positioned in the ram so as to pass oil into an area between the ram and the outer cylinder.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 1990Date of Patent: August 20, 1991Assignee: Fugaku Koki Co., Ltd.Inventor: Tsuyoshi Maruyama

Patent number: 5038669Abstract: A double-cylinder construction which can be used not only in large-sized compression molding machines but also in small-sized or medium-sized compression molding machines. In the double-cylinder construction of the present invention, a ram slidably fitted within an outer cylinder is provided in the center thereof with a hollow part. A rod slidably fitted in said hollow part is fixed to the bottom of said outer cylinder without penetrating said bottom thereof, and said rod does not contain an oil passage within. The double-cylinder construction always contains a certain amount of oil within and this self-contained oil is moved back and forth within the double-cylinder construction when the ram is being moved up and down. Therefore, the amount of oil supplied to the double-cylinder construction from outside is very small.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 1990Date of Patent: August 13, 1991Assignee: Fugaku Koki Co., Ltd.Inventor: Tsuyoshi Maruyama
