  • Patent number: 5400178
Abstract: A rear projection screen unit in a large-size picture display system, composed by combining a plurality of rear projection screen panels arranged in a lattice square with at least one ordinate and abscissa beams disposed between the adjacent screen panels, wherein each of said screen panels intersects with each of said beams which themselves intersect with each other to form the lattice square, and each of said screen panels and ordinate and abscissa beams are connected together by a multiple mortise-and-tenon joint. The lattice square is installed in a outer frame and stressed in the four directions by a resilient members provided on the outer frame. The disclosed structure has minimized the width of the non-effective area in the screen unit, and realized a high reliability in installing strength of the respective screen panels in an integral body suitable for the large-size picture display system.

  • Patent number: 5313307
Abstract: A method for installing a screen to a projection television receiver that uses a transmission-type screen such that the screen can be easily installed to and removed from the projection television receiver when multiple projection television receivers are combined to form a single large-scale multiple display system in which the receivers are stacked vertically and horizontally in an M.times.N rectangular configuration. Screen holding brackets installed in the cabinet body and screen clamping frames are used to secure the screen in place by inserting the screen clamping frames into the slight gap formed between the cabinet body and the screen holding brackets. Even when the screen clamping frames are inserted to the gap and slid to secure the screen, all movement of the clamping frames occurs within the dimensions of the cabinet body, thus making it easy to remove and install the screen even when multiple projection television receivers are combined in a single large-scale display system.

  • Patent number: 4181228
Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for conveying cops and bobbins for directly connecting a ring frame with a winder wherein one operation to feed those cops which are doffed onto the transport-bands on both the right and left sides of the ring frame to the subsequent process from one end of each of the transport-bands and the other operation to receive bobbins needed for the next doffing onto the transport-band are together simultaneously performed, with these two simultaneous operations being repeated. This invention has no provision of a random stock zone and the substantial function of bobbin stock is given to the transport-band, and the bobbin returned from the winder is adjusted in alignment thereof by the bobbin aligning device and conveyed by the bobbin stock conveyor and dropped onto the transport-band.
