  • Publication number: 20100317754
Abstract: A window covering has at least an element made of polyethylene terephthalate mixed with a filler, wherein the polyethylene terephthalate has a melt strength greater than 500 Pa·s, and a ratio of the filler is between 2% and 40% by weight, and the polyethylene terephthalate is mixed with the filler in an environment with the temperature between 200 and 350. The mixture is put into an extruder for extrusion to have a long member, and then the long member is cooled for solidification and is cut to make the window covering element. The element of the window covering has a well rigidity, heat resistant, and light fastness property, and most of all, it is recyclable.

  • Publication number: 20090223640
Abstract: A hanger assembly for displaying the louvers of vertical window blinds, being used to hang a group of louvers comprising a plurality of overlapping louvers. A hanging hole is formed passing through an end towards a major axis of the group of louvers. The hanger assembly comprises a hanging member and a connection member passing through the hanging hole of the group of louvers, in which one end is formed at a predetermined position of the hanging member and the other end is provided with at least a stopper corresponding to an extreme outside of the group of louvers to make the group of louvers axially wiggle along a predetermined portion of the connection member and to further house the hanging member in the group of louvers, preventing the hanging member from being damaged during shipment or carry and reducing a material of package and cost of stock and shipment.

  • Publication number: 20090126881
Abstract: A valance component that includes a first leg, a second leg, a rib extending between an intermediate portion of the first leg to an intermediate portion of the second leg and a member connected to the first and second legs is disclosed. The member has a first face that faces toward the first leg and a second face that faces toward the second leg. The member is sized and configured to be positioned between a valance side and a valance front member, which each have a groove sized to receive at least a portion of the first leg or the second leg. A kit is also disclosed that includes at least one of the valance components, two or more valance side members and at least one valance front member. The kit may include separately packaged components or components that are all retained within one package.

  • Patent number: 7353856
Abstract: A window covering has a plurality of shade elements, each having a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge. The shade elements are positioned sequentially below a headrail, and each shade element is made of a window covering material that can be rolled about the first longitudinal edge. A first rail extends from the headrail past the first longitudinal edge of each shade element and is connected to lowermost shade element or the bottom rail. A second rail extends from the headrail and is attached to lowermost shade element or the bottom rail and to the second longitudinal edge of each shade element. Rungs extend between the first rail and the second rail such that there is one rung below and corresponding to each shade element. The first longitudinal edge of each shade element rests upon a corresponding rung when the window covering is in a closed position. A control mechanism is connected to the first rail and is capable of moving the first rail relative to the second rail.
