Abstract: There is described herein a broom-style cleaning appliance with built in vacuum assembly that can be activated via an elongate nozzle member located adjacent a bundle of cleaning bristles to eliminate the need for a dustpan. Once the vacuum module is activated the debris is collected in a collection chamber housed above or adjacent to the cleaning bristles or elements.

Abstract: There is provided a lid member for a food storage device or container, as well as a food storage system having a lid that can mate with a concave base container, which is stackable or storable via one or more magnetic devices disposed on the lid member or on each of a plurality of lid members. In a related embodiment, a magnetic device is incorporated into a floor panel of the concave base or container for ease of pairing and size matching for storage.

Abstract: Described herein is a reusable microwave splatter cover member with improved ventilation that is storable in the microwave oven on an interior surface via one or more microwave-safe magnets disposed at a portion of the cover member. In related embodiments, the cover member includes one or more removable or overmolded silicone handles as well as protruding handles for improved handling immediately following use in a microwave oven.

Abstract: An undercabinet lighting system is described that includes a light or lamp head assembly that is a flip-up LED halo ring with a telescoping stem. The base of the lighting system plugs into a wall outlet and in the preferred embodiment includes power outlets on the sides of the base housing. An advantage to the lighting system is that the stem and base housing are not directly against the wall which leaves room to place a cell phone in that space and off the counter while charging. In a related embodiment, the halo ring is configurable to provide light underneath and a wireless charging surface on the top surface.

Abstract: Described herein are various dryer accessory devices primarily forming a fabric dryer ball with an absorbent material interior, such as a sponge material interior, and a conductive or metal banding or metallic-based sleeve or cover for covering the sponge interior. In one example, an exterior of the dryer ball is made of wool with a cut-out on the bottom to allow water (or other liquids) to be added to the sponge interior. The water turns into steam from the heat of the hot dryer which lessens wrinkles in clothes. An aluminum band or another form of metal is located around the sponge interior which dissipates the static in clothes.

Abstract: A plunger or declogger assembly device is described that includes a collapsible frusto-conical container body and a valve-equipped lid for applying liquid, such as water, under pressure to clear drain clogs when the plunger device is placed over a drain opening. The frusto-conical container body is collapsible and the cover member or lid has a built-in lip for sealing purposes and the cover member is valve-equipped so as to release water only when downward pressure is applied to the top of the container, forcing the container to vertically and concentrically collapse and thereby force the liquid out and into the clogged drain.

Abstract: Described herein is a cooking device for foodstuffs that are wrapped in bacon, dough or other food items. The device includes a tray that holds a number of silicone holders that hold bacon-wrapped food items while they cook in an oven or toaster oven, microwave or grill (where made of metal). The cooking holders or assemblies hold bacon wrapped food items upright and in place during the cooking process. The entire cooking holder is made of silicone so the food item slides easily off the cooking apparatus when cooking is complete. The cooking tray is designed to allow grease to flow away from the food into a reservoir located around the edges of the tray.

Abstract: Methods and systems for delivery of a virtual exhibit are disclosed. In one aspect, a method of delivering a virtual exhibit to an attendee of a physical event includes receiving an indication of interest from an attendee that identifies at least one physical exhibit at an event, the indication of interest including an identifier associated with the attendee. The method further includes storing an association between the attendee and the exhibit, and receiving a request from the attendee to view a virtual event. The method also includes displaying the virtual event to the attendee, the virtual event including a virtual exhibit corresponding to the at least one physical exhibit.

Abstract: An electronic information distribution system, and methods of use are disclosed. The system includes an attendee handheld computing device and an exhibitor data exchange system including an exhibitor computing device and a wireless communication unit. The system also includes a database configured to contain database records, the database records including database records related to an owner of the attendee handheld computing device and database records related to a registered user of the exhibitor data exchange system. The attendee handheld computing device is configured to exchange information with the wireless communication unit via a wireless communications link, thereby forming a link in the database between at least one record related to the owner of the attendee handheld computing device and at least one record related to the registered user of the exhibitor data exchange system.

The device includes a handheld-sized housing containing circuitry including a powered region and an unpowered region. The powered region is configured to be operable in the absence of a connection to a computing system, the powered region including a programmable circuit and a wireless transceiver, the programmable circuit connected to the wireless transceiver for wirelessly exchanging files with another data communications device, the programmable circuit including a memory. The unpowered region is configured to be inoperable in the absence of a connection to a computing system, the unpowered region including a USB interface and a flash memory. The unpowered region is communicatively connected to the powered region.

Abstract: Methods and systems for transmitting and receiving digital data are disclosed. One method includes aligning the secondary communication interface of a first USB memory device with the secondary communication interface of a second USB memory device. The method further includes triggering communication between the first and second communication devices. The method also includes retrieving information from a memory of a first USB memory device, and transmitting the information from the first USB memory device to the second USB memory device via the secondary communication interface.
