    Abstract: Firearm safing assemblies and firearms including the same are disclosed. In embodiments firearm safing assemblies include a safing sector with a track surface and a receiver door track. The receiver door track may couple to a receiver of a rotatable firearm, wherein the receiver includes a bolt track and at least a portion of the receiver extends coaxially about a first axis. The safing sector is configured to be at least partially disposed within the receiver door track and to move between a safe position and an armed position. In the safe position the track surface is out of alignment with and does not form part of the bolt track, whereas in the armed position it is aligned with and forms part of the bolt track.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for securing a box cover to a watthour meter socket box. In certain embodiments, the apparatus has a clamping member that fits over a wall of a meter box and a lock housing that locks to the clamping member after a box cover has been installed thereby securing the cover to the box. Further embodiments relate to a clamping member and a lock housing wherein the clamping member generally comprises a clamp, clamp actuating member, and fastening shelf, and wherein the clamp actuating member may comprise a lever or threaded member to attach the clamping member to a wall of a meter box base. The box cover is secured to the meter box base when the clamping member is secured to the wall and used in combination with the lock housing and a locking shaft.

The security devices further include a lock that includes a barrel, wherein the lock is integral with or coupled to the shroud to define a shroud cavity between an outward facing surface of the barrel and the inward facing surface of the shroud sidewall. The plug includes a proximal end, a distal end, and a plug sidewall receivable within the shroud cavity. The plug sidewall includes an inward facing surface defining a plug cavity configured to receive the barrel of the lock therein. Such security devices may be advanced from an assembly state to an unlocked state, and may then be reversibly moved between the unlocked state and the locked state. Security device kits are also described.

    Abstract: An apparatus for connecting a plurality of structures, such as ends of a scaling ring, with each end defining an aperture therein and with the ring being adapted to mount a meter to a meter box structure. The apparatus comprises a locking pin with a distal end adapted to be insertable through each of the apertures of the first and second ends of the ring. The locking pin comprises a head member having at least an engageable end and a fracturable member. The locking pin further comprises a shaft portion having the distal end. The apparatus further comprises a lock housing adapted to retain at least a part of the shaft portion such that the first and second ends of the ring are connected between the head member of the locking pin and the lock housing. The head member has an outer surface adapted to receive at least two opposing forces, the at least two opposing forces being of sufficient magnitude to break the fracturable member.
