  • Patent number: 11992002
Abstract: The present invention is a decoy system that simulates waterfowl taking off and landing with an actuator that rotates a crossbeam in an oscillating manner. The crossbeam is pivotally connected through a hinge to a support beam and holds waterfowl decoys on opposite sides of the hinge, thereby raising and lowering the decoys in a teetering motion. The crossbeam can be unitary or may be formed by a pair of arm sections that are connected by a bracket. The support beam has a telescoping section that retracts and extends relative to a fixed section and has a set of legs at the base of the support beam. A pair of stops limits the extent to which the crossbeam can rotate relative to the hinge, thereby limiting the range of travel for the distal ends of the arm section.

  • Patent number: 11147264
Abstract: The present invention is a decoy system that simulates waterfowl taking off and landing byway of a string, pulley and spring which collectively cause a crossbeam holding waterfowl decoys to raise and lower relative to the surface of the water in which the system sits. When the string is pulled one end of the crossbeam holding one decoy lowers and the opposite end of the beam holding either a counterweight or another decoy raises. When the string is released a spring attached to the opposite side of the beam from the string moves the beam towards its original position and thereby the string and spring actuate a teetering motion that provides a visual que on both sides of the hinge at the midpoint of the crossbeam.
