Abstract: Heat-not-burn articles are provided. In some embodiments, the heat-not-burn article may comprise: an inner core comprising at least one compressed rod of cannabis-based material; and an outer sheath comprising a sheet of plant-based material, the outer sheath receiving the inner core therein. The heat-not-burn articles may be heated without combustion to generate an inhalable aerosol and/or vapor, thereby reducing or eliminating undesirable byproducts typically associated with smoke. Also provided are related methods and systems for making a heat-not-burn article.

Abstract: Herb oil pressing devices and methods are provided. The devices include a pair of closable opposed jaws that can apply pressure to a herb placed between the jaws; a motor connected to the jaws for controlling the closing of the jaws, and, when closed, controlling the pressure produced between the jaws; a heater connected to the jaws for heating the jaws and herb; a housing in which the jaws, the motor, and the heater are housed; and a user interface connected to the jaws and the heater, the user interface for inputting a selection of temperature, pressure, and amount of time the temperature and pressure is applied to a herb positioned between the jaws to extract oil therefrom. Related computer-implemented methods of pressing a herb are also provided.

Abstract: Vaporizer ovens and related vaporizers are provided. The vaporizer oven can comprise a body comprising a vaporizing chamber with an opening and a removable closure member that can engage the body to close the opening. The body can comprise a first locking component and the closure member can comprise a second locking component that interlocks with the first locking component. In some embodiments, a biasing element can be disposed in one of the body or the closure member to exert a biasing force to maintain the closure member in a locked position. A related vaporizer can comprise a housing that receives the vaporizer oven. Related methods for making a vaporizer oven and a vaporizer are also provided.

Abstract: A vaporizer device is provided that includes a body and a mouthpiece coupled to the body and having at least one suction opening. The device further includes a first heater for vaporizing a first vaping material, thereby forming a first vapor. The vaporizer device further includes a second heater for vaporizing a second vaping material, thereby forming a second vapor. The heaters are arranged in or operatively coupled to the body. The device includes at least one airflow conduit that delivers the first and second vapors to the at least one opening of the mouthpiece. The device may also include first and second cartridges that removably couple to the body. The vaporizer device may further include a vapor control operable to control at least one of generation and flow of the first vapor and the second vapor.

Abstract: Plant incubation apparatuses are provided. In some embodiments, the plant incubation apparatus may comprise a housing defining an upper chamber and a lower chamber; a partition positioned between the upper and lower chambers; and a plant-retaining opening extending through the partition that receives and supports a plant therein such that roots of the plant are positioned in the lower chamber and a remainder of the plant is positioned in the upper chamber. In some embodiments, the plant incubation apparatus may comprise at least one sensing device collecting data indicative of at least one of a plant property and an environmental parameter within the apparatus. Also provided are related methods.

Abstract: Vaporizer apparatuses having a head movable between operational and non-operational positions are provided. The vaporizer apparatus comprises a body and the head. The head comprises a mouthpiece portion and is engaged with the body in the operational and non-operational positions. The apparatus further comprises a vaporizing chamber and vaporizing element operatively coupled to the vaporizing chamber and operable to vaporizing the material therein when activated. The vaporizing element is activatable when the head is in the operational position. The vaporizer apparatus may not be usable to vaporize the material when the head is in the non-operational position. Methods of providing vaporizer apparatuses having a head movable between operational and non-operational positions are also provided.

Abstract: Containers for transporting plants are provided that can include a base having a base recess for receiving a plant and a growing medium or soil, a lid that can attach to the base such that the lid can extend over and enclose the plant within the container, a cover for holding the plant within the base recess that can be mounted within a base opening into the base recess and abutting against the growing medium or soil, at least one light source mounted to an upper surface of the cover, and a tamper-resistant attachment mechanism for attaching the lid and the base together. Methods for enclosing and transporting plants within containers are also provided.
