    Abstract: A lamp ballast system includes a frequency inverter unit having a driver circuit connected to a voltage multiplying unit so as to receive a voltage-multiplied direct current output therefrom, an oscillator circuit connected to and driven by the driver circuit so as to generate a high-frequency oscillating current output, and a converter circuit connected to the oscillator circuit and operable so as to convert the oscillating current output into a stable high voltage, high frequency alternating current output. A phase correction unit interconnects the converter circuit and the lamp load, and includes at least one set of a transformer and a capacitor that are connected in series.

    Abstract: A fluorescent lamp assembly is adapted for connection with a power source, and includes a plurality of sets of fluorescent lamps, a plurality of control units and a main power switch. Each of the sets of fluorescent lamps has a lamp seat for holding the fluorescent lamps. The control units are adapted to be connected to the power source and are mounted on the lamp seats, respectively. Each of the control units is connected to a corresponding one of the sets of the fluorescent lamps in parallel for activating the corresponding set of the fluorescent lamps, and has a lamp switch for controlling activation of the corresponding set of the fluorescent lamps. The main power switch is connected to all of the control units and is adapted to be connected to the power source for controlling the power source to provide electrical power to all of the control units.

    Abstract: In a circuit for controlling operation of an emergency exit lamp, a delay circuit enables a trigger circuit a preset time period after a power outage has occurred. Once enabled, the trigger circuit activates a relay so as to connect a storage battery to an oscillator. The oscillator is thus enabled to generate a high voltage alternating current signal to activate the lamp to generate a light output in the event of a power outage.
