    Abstract: A speed-reducer-and-motor all-on-one machine is disclosed and includes a connection shaft, a motor and a speed reducer. The connection shaft includes a first section, a second section and an accommodation space. The first section and the second section are arranged in an axial direction. The accommodation space is in communication between a front end and a rear end of the connection shaft. An elliptical cam is formed on an outer surface of the second section of the connection shaft. An outer diameter of the first section is greater than a major axis length of the elliptical cam. The motor is received within the accommodation space and connected to an inner surface of the first section. The speed reducer is connected to the outer surface of the second section.

    Abstract: A passive compliance mechanism includes a fixing member, a base and a stiffness adjustment assembly. The base is installed on the fixing member, and includes two notches and an elastic slice. A first end of the elastic slice is connected with the base. A second end of the elastic slice is located near the outer periphery of the fixing member. The stiffness adjustment assembly includes a linear guide, a sliding block and two stopping blocks. The linear guide is installed on the fixing member. The sliding block is movably installed on the linear guide. The two stopping blocks are disposed on the sliding block and synchronously moved with the sliding block. The two stopping blocks are contacted with two opposite sides of the elastic slice to clamp the elastic slice. A stiffness of the base is adjustable according to a clamped position of the elastic slice.

The first and second units collectively define a passage about which the second unit is rotatable relative to the first unit. The elastic member has a plate and first and second shafts which are coaxially connected to two opposite ends of the plate respectively and rotatably connected with the first and second units respectively. The elastic member is rotatable about a co-axis of the first and second shafts and elastically deformable when the second unit rotates relative to the first unit. The elastic member can change its resistance to the rotation of the second unit by rotating; therefore the compliant mechanism has a great safety upon receiving load and is widely applicable in many fields.
