Abstract: Systems and techniques are described herein for processing audio signals. For instance, a process can include receiving a first audio frame associated with a first time frame. The process can further include generating a first time frame feature vector based on the first audio frame. The process can include determining a distance between the first time frame feature vector and a second time frame feature vector. The second time frame feature vector may be generated based on a second audio frame associated with a second time frame, where second time frame is being before the first time frame. The process can further include comparing the distance between the first time frame feature vector and the second time frame feature vector to a threshold distance. The process can include determining whether to skip processing of the first audio frame by an application based on the comparison.

Abstract: In certain aspects of the present disclosure, a method for rapid informatics-based prognosis development includes receiving a consult request. The method includes selecting a study template configured to design a study to develop a consult output in response to the consult request. The method includes receiving a completed study template, including a completed field in the study template based on information from the consult request, the completed field comprising a variable provided in at least one of a timeframe field, a phenotype field, a cohort field, and a demographic field. The method includes obtaining cohort data based on the completed study template, the cohort data derived from a plurality of patient objects. The method includes generating the consult output based on the cohort data, the consult output comprising a result from an analysis of the cohort data according to a criteria and an instruction in the study template.

Abstract: A battery pack (12) includes one or more electrical battery cells (18). A battery management system (20) includes at least one electronic processor (24) configured to monitor parameters of the battery pack. At least one fault detection sensor includes at least one of: at least one gas sensor (36) configured to measure a gas evolving from the plurality of electrical battery cells; and a shock sensor (30) configured to measure an impact on the battery pack. A housing (16) encloses the plurality of electrical battery cells, the battery management system, and the at least one fault detection sensor. The battery management system is configured to perform a remediation action responsive to detection of a fault by the at least one fault detection sensor.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to providing a proprietary file integration system for converting files in a proprietary format useable only by a legacy application or system to a new, useable file format to ensure continued access and use of the files. The invention comprises a nonconventional use of existing systems and modules of a file validation tool by improving and altering its core functions to additionally transform the proprietary files to the new, useable format. The invention extracts the file path from a data archive to open the file before capturing an image of the file, converting the image to a new, useable format, and storing the file for later access and use in the new format. Additionally, the invention can process the file in its new format to automatically generate a searchable index of the file for ease of user discovery and access.

The list of cells may be stored locally on the telecommunication device. Also, the telecommunication device may be configured to determine that the cells are associated with the specific network type based on a data connection and to continue displaying an indicator associated with the specific network type despite interruption or completion of the data connection. Additionally, the list of cells may be built by a cloud service and provided to the telecommunication device.

Abstract: The dedicated telecommunications lines functioning as data trunks carrying voice and data between the switching points of a wireless communications system are replaced by virtual data trunks implemented over an Internet Protocol network. An IP gateway associated with each switching point receives a plurality of data trunks carrying communications data. The data are assembled into IP packets, with a source address associated with the gateway and a destination address derived from which data trunk carried the communications data. The IP packets are sent across an IP network to the destination gateways. Incoming data packets, with a destination IP address matching that associated with the IP gateway, are received at the gateway. The data are extracted from the IP packets, and directed to one of the data trunks to the switching point, based on the IP source address of the packet.
