    Abstract: The present invention relates to Indexer table (1) for rotary and horizontal shifting of paper bunches. Said indexer table (1) having spider arms shifted in rotary manner through pinion gear and servo motor. The drive power is provided to auxiliary shaft (5) from main shaft (4) through the pulley (11) and belt (19d) configuration. The juxtaposed shafts receive the drive power from the auxiliary shaft (5) through universal joints (10). The cam (12) on each shaft rotates along with rotation of the shaft for reciprocal movement of spider arm (20). The actuator (13) actuates follower (13b) for open and close movement of bunch gripper (21). Said bunch gripper (21) grips bunch paper and then said driven shaft (14) rotates so that the spider arm (20) shifts bunch paper in rotary manner. After performing operation of bunch paper, the spider arm (20) shifts bunch paper to next platform.

Here, position of each pair of sucker (116) is adjusted by adjusting position of guide blocks though adjustable links (107, 108). Further, distance between suckers (116) of each pair is adjusted by sliding the sucker cups (113) 10 within slot (112) of guide block so that according to size of books, the position of sucker is defined such that each book is gripped by one pair of sucker. After gripping, each pair of sucker (116) is separated linearly so that books are separated from their partition line. Said separated books are conveyed to back stopper assembly (3) where books are properly positioned and then 15 corner cutting assembly carry the corner cutting of books.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a servo controlled stitching apparatus that comprises a servo controlled wire pulling means (4) for pulling the required length of wire for stitching bunch of paper sheets. Said pulling means (4) comprises pulling roller (11) having wire retaining groove (11a) for guiding wire extending from the spool (2) towards the stitching head (1). It also comprises pressure roller (13) that rotates against pulling roller (11) for pulling the wire (16) from the spool (2). The length of wire to be pulled is predefined in the controller means which is communicated with the servo motor (7) that rotates said rollers (11, 13) until the predetermined length of wire is pulled. The stitching head (1) utilize the wire (16) of pulled length without rotating the spool itself to avoid pulling load and to apply even stapling on the bunch of paper sheets.
