  • Patent number: 11506647
Abstract: A method is provided for operating a gas concentration monitoring system as well as a gas-measuring device, a central unit, a gas concentration monitoring system as well as computer program product. The safety of persons or the safety of a situation is determined with respect to at least one hazardous gas. The concentration of the gas is provided to a memory and analysis device. A measured value rating number is determined for a preset period of use. A number of instances, of the measured concentration values exceeding of a preset gas concentration limit value is input. A safety code is determined from at least one of: the measured concentration values, the measured value rating numbers and from the a total number of instances in which a gas concentration limit value was exceeded.

  • Patent number: 11170622
Abstract: A device includes a gas-measuring unit and a sound-measuring unit. The gas-measuring unit has a gas sensor detecting a first measured variable, and a gas analysis module determining a gas concentration from the first variable and comparing the concentration with a first threshold value, to output a first signal based thereon. The sound-measuring unit has a sound detection unit detecting a second measured variable, and a sound analysis module determining a status variable, from the second variable, indicating a noise exposure, and comparing the status variable with a second threshold value to determine a first parameter indicating a current sound level and/or determining a second parameter indicating a sound exposure accumulated over a time interval. The sound analysis module may determine the status variable, the first parameter and/or the second parameter as a function of the comparison of the gas concentration and the first threshold value.

  • Patent number: 10614695
Abstract: A gas-measuring device includes a control unit, a gas sensor module, a radio receiver unit, a first radio transmitter unit and a second radio transmitter unit. The control unit detects sensor data via the gas sensor module in a first operating state and upon detecting a potential hazardous state, based on the sensor data, changes over into a second operating state. The control unit further detects one or more radio signals, which indicate respective characteristics of respective portable transmitter units, by the radio receiver unit in the second operating state, and determines, on the basis of the radio signals, which of the transmitter units have a sufficiently close proximity in space to the gas-measuring device. The control unit provides the characteristics of the transmitter units, having a sufficiently close proximity in space, via the first radio transmitter unit.

  • Patent number: 9128067
Abstract: A test station for a plurality of test gases, includes a main unit (10) with a control (12) and test modules (20), each for a gas measurement device, that exchange data to register a type of gas measurement device and test gas(es) required for the device type. The control sets a schedule for a test using a test gas, or for a plurality of successive tests each with different test gases and carries out the specific test planned according to the schedule, in parallel with tests for all of the test modules for a test gas and determines, as an additional gas measurement device is inserted, based on the particular device type of the additional gas measurement device, whether the currently-running test with the current test gas is suitable for the inserted test module; and if the test gas is suitable, to start the test for this test module.
